I like the sound of both versions, not sure I could pick a favorite. The Senator really rings out, but the nylguts have a nice mellowness. Great playing!
Thanks mate! I love that mellowness, and plucky sound of the nylgut strings! I’d like to add a gourd banjo to my collection next I think. There’s a guy on here named Noah Cline that makes really good but affordable gourd and mountain banjos, not sure if I mentioned him before

@@Yallquietendown Thanks man! I Labella’s were the first nylon strings I tried on my AC-1, but wasn’t a big fan at first. Found them a little thin, but I should try them again. I bet they’d sound great on my Vega too.
