Painting is very therapeutic and I’m so glad I started learning how to last year. Just like you, I have paints and rocks and supplies all Over my dining room table, so We mostly eat on the couch😊 thanks for the laughs, you are so relatable.🌸

OMG! You are too funny about the chores! I'm sitting here talking to a video going "shut up Rachel" cuz denial is that river I like now and then especially about laundry! Spot on about ALL MY CHORES....yet I'm watching you and painting a bee for someone....cuz it's the best therapy EVER! Been on meds my whole life....once I started the kindness rocks and the suicide prevention awareness project several months ago... I've painted easily over a hundred rocks and haven't been THIS happy in a long time. And I do refer to you as one of my teachers. My favorite teacher... Rachel up north...self taught and soooooo awesome. I want to show you how my dragonfly turned out.... how do I send you a pic? ♥️🎨♥️🎨♥️🎨♥️

Hi, Rachel - l live in Muskoka and so the inspiration l would like to suggest to you are: Moose, Deer, Fish, Squirrels, Bears, Muskoka chairs, pine trees in weird wind blown shapes, beavers, boats, docks, water skiing, flip-flops, bathing suits, lakes and cottages. And sun hats, sun-glasses. Snow-shoes, cross-country skiing and skates. Hope that is helpful. Now, l want to thank you for your wonderful u-tube videos, not sure how I came across them but they have changed how l look at rocks, They are now turtles, colourful Mandalas, etc?.. I have been painting so many rocks, that all my family/friends/co-workers have received rocks. Not sure if they appreciate them as l do. You make painting look easy, but there is certainly some finesse to it. Keep on painting because l always look forward to seeing and trying your new rock creations. I love the resin part, l bought some to try on a worthy creation of mine. Hopefully soon as l am getting more confident. I just love what you do, thank you so much💟😃

I was self taught, but then I took a couple private classes from other artists. After that I went to college and got my A.S. Degree in Graphic Design Technology. I took two art classes as part of my degree and learned even more. I continue to learn. I’m learning from you too. Thank you for sharing your process with us. ❤ I also created a tattoo design for one of my sons. It’s the BIG cat on the movie Avatar. By the way, I like all the butterflies. You did fantastic.

Rachel, I just LOVE love all of your tutorials! Yours are the only one's I watch anymore! If you made a thousand of them, I'd watch every last one! This Cherry Blossom rock is beautiful, I'm painting it right now. I'm using a rock that's VERY heavy, it's 13" long and 8" wide. It will be sitting in the middle of my flower garden out front, once I have it complete this spring. We also just moved last November. We went from a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home we lived in for 25 years and we moved to the country in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath manufactured home on 2 acres! Talk about downsizing! Both of our horses live here in their barn and they love it! I'm retired now so I am devoting a lot of time painting rocks! I am always looking for something from you, your paintings are so beautiful and you make it look SO easy! Keep up the awesome talent! Thank you!

Oh so beautiful Rachel!! The resin does put the finishing touch to things! It brings out the sparkle and brightness of the paint!! I've only tried it once and it didn't come out so good, I had some bubbles and I used too much resin, so I'll try again. I appreciate your time and teaching us so very much!! Prayers for Australia!! Happy New Year Rachel!!! So good to see another tutorial from you again!!! It was well worth the wait!! Prayers for Australia, it is beyond sad what is going on there!!! Omg. I absolutely suck at rock painting. Just started last month. Spent several hundred on all the supplies, even foils and a uv light. I suck I suck I suck. I've soaked and scrubbed off the paints on my rocks so many times it's frustrating. Did I mention I suck. I love love love your work.

I’m happy you have gotten through your move! I haven’t painted as I’ve been sick since before Christmas! Finally went to the doc yesterday and got drugs! Have missed your videos! My dear sweet husband bought me a new 6ft table to paint on, it’s awesome! I found a silicon mat that rocks! You can paint on it and the paint peels right off. Same with resin! My granddaughter and I will be doing a FaceTime painting project! I just got her neon paints for the project and I’m surprising her with a black light for her room! I need a crab from my favorite artist! You ROCK! HAPPY NEW YEAR! I have been trying to visualize Australia with rain coming down putting fires out! It breaks my 💔 to think of all the animals that are being killed, it’s not their fault yet they are the innocent ones being harmed. 😢

I’m watching this with earbuds on my iPad...and getting funny looks from my hubby because he knows darn well I’m watching a painting tutorial; but every time you start giggling or crack a joke, I start laughing right along with you 😂 (Yep, hubby now thinks I’ve lost my fool mind completely 🤪). Delighted to hear the move is all over and done with for you. It took me months to find things the last time we moved, but hopefully you won’t have those issues. And yes...I’m doing laundry as I watch this, and omg don’t ask about the dishes! (You are suuuucb a bad influence, LMAO!) This is just precious Rachel - cherry blossoms are one of my favourite scents. I sadly don’t have any santorini stone, so will try to adapt it for use with either a created stone or a river rock...wish me luck! 🤞😉

You are looking for suggestions for future rocks. I am from Polish parents and our Polish Pysanki Eggs are beautiful. We make them for Easter. Look them up...
