NOBODY is perfect Rachel........you are great, and you do a great job. If someone complains, they should take it someplace else. You are a wonderful hearted person, and you should not always have to apologize. I love the sponges that you have suggested..it is so much nicer to not have any brush strokes on my work...fantastic ideas.

I think blending with the sponges does make my rocks look more finished or less like a 6 year old painted them. Your flower is beautiful ! I've been liking mandalas so I can't wait to do this one .

I’m an 82 year old beginner. Can’t wait to start but since I had 2 heart attacks in January and am an insulin dependent diabetic and high risk I don’t have any paints at the time, and can’t get to the store because of the quarantine. I do have Posca pens. My paints are on order from Amazon. Can you do some videos using the pens. I am going stir crazy here and my ricks are small just from the yard.

I love both the air brush look of the sponge and the texture of a brush. But for me the brush texture is what I do.

Omg this is just beautiful. I absolutely love the sponges. I wish the little ones lasted a bit longer. Went to Michaels yesterday but they were out of the sponges from Martha Stewart. But I did get vintage tea rose and gold. 😊

I would love it if you could try and tell us a tip or technique that you’ve learned. Do you ever mix any of your paints with mediums or are they always ready straight out of the bottle for your needs. Do you ever mix your own colours from medium body pants?

I'm wondering why you don't use an acrylic pen for your outlining. Any particular reason?? Also, it would be really awesome if you could let us know about the size of the rock you're using when you do a tutorial. I love watching you paint and have been so inspired! Thank you!

OMG you used the "S" word (Spring). Sounded soooooo good to hear it. I am in Michigan near Ontario :) we probably share the weather forecast. So I know the feeling. I am so ready for Spring and this video really got me excited about putting out flowers in my yard in every color! I am coming to Canada in May for a holiday I have told hubby we are bringing and extra suitcase so I can go to Michaels to get some of these awesome colours that we can't get in Australia or they are terribly expensive. It will be one of the highlights of my trip.

I tried this tutorial and am pleased with how it turned out, however, I had trouble with the sponges ( as always ) and the mandala. I use the Martha Stewart sponges but mine are worn out so I am going to order some more and keep trying like you say. :) I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I get spots where the paint pulls up when I use the sponges. Mine never ends up as smooth and blended looking as yours. Thank you for sharing your Beautiful talent.

Lorrie Moon use a light pounce when using the sponge, that will help prevent spots.

Just wondering why you painted the dark pink/magenta petals right on the rock and did not prime the petals in white first? I've always primed with white first if I'm doing anything in color as it really makes the color pop.

My magenta is quite thick and it usually covers really well😊 If I was using a lighter colour I would have definitely primed with white🥰

Guuuurl, every time I think I can slow down a little, BOOM! There you go with another tutorial! I don’t know where you get the energy from, but I sure am grateful for all the ones you’ve done! Your creativity is staggering, as is your talent. The hot lip rocks I did for valentines kindness stones were gone just mere minutes after I went out and hid them, so here’s hoping we created some smiles 😉. Only JUST finished putting my final hot lips rock & patchwork owl rock in their little “resin sauna”, uploaded the pics and realized there was a new notification from YT that you’d uploaded again, lol. You are one busy lady, that’s for sure!! Love it 😍❤️
