Glad to see I'm not the only one that takes $9.44 for 8 miles when it's slow. If it takes me just outside another town or city I usually get hit with decent paying double orders while there or coming back.

I’m glad you mentioned taking roughly a 1:1 ratio order because it was highway miles. I feel like so many people get stuck on trying to get that 2:1 ratio for all orders which in turn makes them over look decent orders like that one. I try to stick with a 1.5:1 ration due to my area, but any time I get a 1:1 offer and it’s mostly all highway I’m taking it all day.

As someone who used to work at Party City, I can confirm that the place is a maze and we try to hand as many bags of balloons to one driver as possible (the company literally schedules like 3 drivers for 16 bags so usually we even have to manually go in and request for more drivers). So if anyone is dashing/ubering, be prepared cause very rarely do they hand you one bag (most times it's at least 3-4 bags).

First time I ever got an order from Party City, I accepted it. Once there, I saw the bags of balloons they are wanting me to load, I said "Helll Nawww!!!" canceled, and never accepted another Party City order ever again. So many dang balloons my car would probably have floated. No matter, I wouldn't have been able to see anything. 😏

Just double park directly in front of the resto, like you're in the city. Pay nothing, fight tickets, let them know if they want shit delivered, this is the price they must pay.

Just a tip. When you have to pay for parking, what I usually do is lift my bonnet up and put my emergency lights on as if I’m broken down and or just recently DoorDash has supplied me with a ‘delivery in progress sign back in 5 mins’ if you haven’t got one of those perhaps request one

In my market Uber eats be trying to send you over multiple counties I’m like nah I’m good. DoorDash keeps me close enough to my area. So far it’s been working for me

That Dunkin’ Donuts order, one small coffee… they tipped $4.00 and probably paid $13-$14 total for that delivery. It’s sad no one was taught to respect money. They’re gonna find out at retirement age.

I agreed with you. As a consumer, I won't do so. As a UE driver, I witness this. Rich people and poor people pay tip generously and that should be obvious for two very different reasons. (The first because they make a lot of money and the other are poor because of their spending). I think the middle class pay the least tip or do their own shopping/driving and that's why are middle class. I consider myself as middle class and I won't spend $13-15 on DD coffee and a couple of donuts.

I got three $2 orders the other day for the same place. Rejected all of them before I FINALLY got a decent one. The fact that Uber thinks that a $2 order is acceptable pisses me off. Edited to add: My Doordash bag had the zipper break after like 2 weeks. I use a huge Grub Hub pizza bag for all my orders now

In my opinion, cherry picking would fine as long as you do UE part-time and you can choose to work during the busy hours - early in the morning and lunch for a couple of hours, dinner and throughout night. This entire UE driving is not worth our time at other time.

Dude, there's some great orders in West Chester, but parking downtown just sucks. Especially when they close Gay Street on the weekends. I used to park on Market Street and throw my hazards on until I saw your video when you got a ticket! If I ever run into out there, I'll be sure to say hi!

0:35 to 0:42 so the second offer is not bad as long as the restaurant in this case it looks like duncan, has the offer ready for you when you pull up or regardless the amount of time it takes them to get it out to you versus your driving distance to get it done to the customer is in a reasonable amount of time within the time frame that you want to set a quota for yourself that it meets For example of that I always try to set a goal of $30 an hour on all orders as far as from the second item to accept the offer to the very second I tap to finish and complete it and it's done and then I get my fare within the next 90 seconds or less of that. So in this offers case at the time stamp I quoted for $5 for 2.1 me if I can't get that offer done and at least 11 minutes and I know it's going to take longer than 15, I won't accepted because I already make $18 an hour in my regular job and if I'm going to do any job that involves me running my vehicle ragged the pay is going to be noticeably higher to account for that wear and tear and gas expense and mileage as well as the fact that us Uber Eats food delivery drivers do not get paid any free medical insurance whatsoever Thus a minimum for me personally of 24 an hour calculated into the offer or I don't do it. Now the absolute vast majority of offers that I do except I'm able to get done within a certain time frame when you do the math it equates to 30 bucks an hour or better Central Mississippi area here

best times in my area on ubereats for low number I have to cherry pick. is 4am to 9am. then 10pm till 3am. the rest of the time I have a high number of declines before I have a good order. doordash is usually better during that frame. for me

Some of the orders you take surprise me. I don’t take anything under $1.50 a mile. Anything under a $1.50 a mile you’re essentially just cashing in on your cars equity after paying expenses.

When it’s slow, I take orders that keep to averaging $20 an hour. I have a used car that was cheap and is paid off so I’m not too worried about my cars value :)

It’s the only way to go. If you don’t cherry pick you’ll be broke and working for free. Gas is $4.50+ out here in Vegas. I can’t move my vehicle for less than $5.50 and I try not to go more than 5.5 miles. Unless I’m trying to dash along the way or get home. Ijs

You won’t have to worry about this for much longer. Given the upcharge on delivery food and all the additional charges, people won’t be ordering delivery for much longer. It’s cheaper to pick it up yourself.

Noticed how the Customer Support is in India 🇮🇳 and you don’t see Arabs having problems with offers or making videos on how they struggling like us. I was at a wing stop for 1 hour and saw 2 Arabs get 9/10 orders go to them. I only got 1. How is this even possible or fair ? Idk, just my observation and experience. Low key a little frustrated.

can someone please respond, this is new and for everybody and reddit instantly bans my posts about this topic, and I cant find any other info on this, its really fucking annoying not being able to clikc anything when a notification from uber pops up, i cant even click the uber popup to get into the app, i need to go to notifications then click the banner to get into the app when it does this crap now, with "display over other apps", instead of being able to see the uber request and amount of money and i can just click that notification and get into the app, thats whats good and what it was until today..

I have a solid amount of mechanic experience so when people tell me what about when ur car goes bad? I can fix it myself. Only 2 weeks now since i started and made about 600. I started like a Wednesday my 1st week after work so could of made probably 300 400 more.
