@@traveljb not a problem. I never order fast food so i can re heat mexican, chinese food. To be honest drivers are so desperate , my $2 order is immediately delivered because its sent to driver as a stacked order. I am also a dasher and my AR is 2%
#ALERT ***#important****As of 11 am CST 7/24/24 your app has had a #securitybreach. I told customer support that the support asked me for my social, address, banking info, license ID and birth date (I have screen shots). When I called she didn't sound like customer support at all. She Mandy said to hang up and call back. 🙄😡
Question but does Uber eats give trips based on delivery type, meaning if you deliver by car or bike do they give more/bigger orders to the delivery person with the car etc?
2:30 Literally me every night T_T I had one cop literally follow me to my drop off, then circle back so they could shine lights into my car as I was getting back in. I'm just trying to make money legally, I promise.
My pay hasn’t changed switching from top to platinum. Just a gimmick to motivate more dashers to stick out the shift and take more orders they normally wouldn’t take.
People claiming letting orders time out do not understand how the AR works. It's a rolling 100, all you did was replace a non-accept with another non-accept which resulted in it staying the same. If you had accept it, it would go up.
Had to pay for a 140+ dollar order with my own card because my red card was not working. Was an issue with the store price of two items being way more than what DoorDash was charging the customer, so the card declined. Was able to get reimbursement very easily thankfully.
At some point soon im gonna have to get my acceptance rate and cancel rate maxx'd out on uber eats for the one time diamond payment.....not looking forward to it, gonna have to take alot of crapp orders
unfortunately if you verify your catering bag it doesnt let you into the catering program no matter what. its apparently random and can happen at any time when dd emails you the invite (again). they removed all top dashers from the catering program so now you need to wait again for another invite if you were in the program before plat.
Delivering for DoorDash just puts me in a bad mood. The app is trash, the trash orders, the dropping acceptance rate, the b.s. tiers. I make enough on other apps to not even bother.
As someone who has been doing DoorDash for way too long.. these programs for dash now where you have to keep your acceptance rate up aren’t worth it my brother. Just schedule a week out for whatever zone around you has the best orders, and go cherry pick. My acceptance rate sits at 5-15%. That’s where the money and good orders are at
Love the videos. You mentioned “turning uour Red Card off”…..please share how to do that. I always seem to get those during the dinner rush and prefer to just do Food Deliveries during that time. Thanks!
You’re the second person I heard that said they can turn off their Red Card. You must have to reach a certain status to be able to do this because I’ve never seen that option.
Yup! Letting the timer is the worst. Not only will it drop your percentage, they’ll send it to you again and drop your percentage one more time if you decline or let it run out. So better to just decline
Lost my Red card and realized it was way less driving to other zones. And I would get 320 items at Petsmart... crickets and frozen mice. How the heck do you turn off the Red card? Or pause it? Seems like I get them all day long. Wouldn't mind 1 or 2.
Thank you for your fun & entertaining videos. My wife - for some reason - thought it takes 150 deliveries per month to hit Platinum Dasher... we went to the Bay Area & noticed we were in the tier program as Silver, but in Sacramento, CA we are still Top Dasher. Funny...
Maintaining platinum status is the difficult part. I’m currently at 87% acceptance rate and have 182 deliveries in the past 30 days but i got myself a DoorDash beater last week so now I wont have to worry about putting miles on my 2023 Acura and can risk longer deliveries that pay more. I’m sure you wont have a problem maintaining platinum.
If you think you gonna lose an order because no internet , QUICKLY toggle data off and on. That usually helps me, especially if I know I should def have a signal. Also always make sure wifi is off, whenever using gig apps. Having it on will screw with the apps networking, and you will miss orders/ lose money.
Lol it most certainly does not pay to be platinum. For all the trash and garbage you have to take to get there. Not to mention even more trash and garbage to stay there. No way In any shape form is that worth. DoorDash got all you naive drivers fooled and it’s working out for them.
@gregtinsley7700 ill have to say it does depend on the market but I'd say it's true platinum is better for 90% of drivers, you don't even have to take bad orders to get platinum
Bro thinks exactly like I do. Example: I see a flashing bulb going bad on a building. I call that the building hard drive light loading data. TravelJB gets me.
Never seen gold. I love living the platinum life. Occasionally my acceptance rate will dip below 70 making me silver and determined to regain platinum before my shift ends (i always do :) ) I always do well over 100 deliveries a week , every single week
