The 2022 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro AWD is coming to the Philippines, and in this video, we get to drive it for a week to see what sort of features and performance we can expect. Known in other markets as the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max, we get AWD performance and a lot of horsepower for below 2 million pesos. The 2022 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max is expected to arrive in the Philippines around June or July, and it will give the consumers a great value option. It called Tiggo 8 Pro in China and I just buy an AWD version with 155k RMB. Acceleration performance is remarkable and I love it so much. Official 0-100km/h acceleration is 7.5s and 7.1s in real test drive. Fuel consumption in busy city road is around 9.5L gasoline per 100km and around 7.5L per 100km on highway with 120km/h.

Great test on an excellent vehicle. Looking forward to this variant coming to South Africa baesd on the latest updated version which was launched here early this month in FWD guise. Eagerly awaiting for the AWD.

Thanks for the video. I watched another video of this car from another country. As you said called it the "Max". It had the pano sunroof. My hope is that it will come fully equipped like the 1.6. If that's the case this car would be at the top of my list.

Very nice car. Hopefully the Philippines is getting the Tiggo 8 Pro that has already been redesigned in China with a new Lexus like spindal grille that is supposedly going to be available as a 2023 model later this year in some countries.

Almost the same acceleration as the 1.6t. Only advantage of this 2.0 us the AWD but if I were to choose, the 1.6t with all the safety and luxury is still the best bang for the buck.

Geely won’t even try to budge in at this price point haha. Market too small and most people are gonna go for the 1.6 anyways. Heck more people are gonna go for Changans.

AGREE WITH 8:08 Ditch the Sunroof. Add legit Third Row aircon vents and not the small ones! But the luxurious seats of the tiggo 8 pro is a deal-maker for me. Those seats are va-va-voom!

Interesting review. I have one observation though. When clocking 0-100 it makes a lot more sense to show the speedometer in order for viewers to get a correct idea of 0-100 timing. Hope you can do another run with the speedo in focus.

Tiggo 8 Pro, completed 👏 I rather go in 1.6T because I need adaptive cruise control which is very helpful in traffic and highway, plus the complete package of Adas that I really love., rather AWD that you can only enjoy uphill because of power,

No panoramic sunroof is a deal breaker for me. I like the 2.0’ interior color over the 1.6, and the all wheel drive, but I would not want to sacrifice the pano sunroof.

Very good car review on the Tiggo 8 2.0L AWD.I agree with you are Reygan the lighter colour seats are a lot better looking. I believe most people will buy the 1.6 turbo over the 2.0L nice to have the extra power but how often here in the philippines do you use it. Let’s just get the cars in the show rooms so we can all have a drive 🤣

@@mucaaco1 you probably haven't tried it yet, binubuksan lang sya tuwing gabi, dapit hapon o kaya bukang liwayway wag tanghali mainit, nakakadagdag sya sa ambience at atmosphere sa loob ng sasakyan , we tried it along Baguio dun sa maraming puno sobrang luxury feel

This is 200k cheaper than CRV 2.0 AWD. but given the chance to buy one.. I would still pick the diesel-fed CRV.. CHERY should price it lesser than 1.8M since they omitted the ADAS and the SUNROOF.

Was saving money to buy an Okavango, but the recent 70-200K price increase is too much. A fine interior, powerful engine, ADAS, and unmatched warranty has already swayed me to save-up for the Tiggo 8 Pro 1.6 instead. Now, the deal would be a lot sweeter if the net price is only 1.5M. 😍
