We love Chesapeake's, have to eat there when we go to Gatlinburg. Some of the best seafood around, love the oysters.

Gosh I wish I could eat seafood, but allergies get me every time, every once in awhile I sneak a bacon wrapped scallop or a pecan encrusted deep fried oyster, but more than one and I'm in serious trouble. I'd be eating steak, but my husband would LOVE everything on that menu, though I don't think he would go for the raw oysters, I guess it takes a certain palette. Thanks for taking us along and wow what a beautiful view you had at your table.

That looked scrumptious. Haven't been there for a long time. Price reasonable for fresh seafood, great tip go for lunch or brunch. You just keep getting better and better. 😊

This is the first review I have seen for Chesapeake's. It looks delicious. I love seafood but it's hard to come by in our area. We had a really good locally owned seafood restaurant in our area. It burned down several years ago and was never rebuilt. Bobbie's fried fish platter is something I could really go after. They give you a good amount of food for the lunch and brunch menu. We have gone to Harpoon Harry's in Pigeon Forge. I don't recall seeing anything like this on their menu. I love a variety of seafood and not a lot of one thing. I lived in Maryland in my teenage years so I grew up loving seafood especially crab cakes. Thanks for a great review!

I haven't really seen any of the channels I usually watch review this place. Looks amazing. Will definitely have to check it out next time we're there. Hopefully soon. Thanks guys.

The fried fish platter looks better than the broiled, looks like you get more with the fried version. I like that the breading is light!

If you want super fresh seafood you must eat seafood along the coast. We used to drive up to Maine all the time to get lobster right on the docks, right off the boats, they would steam them right on the docks and we would sit there and eat them with drawn butter and fresh lemon. Throughout New England New Jersey, especially Cape May the boats are right there getting the seafood, the restaurants are built right on the bays and harbors, and you get the seafood fresh, it's been caught just in the last couple hours, other great places are along the coast of North and South Carolina and Florida. Florida also has delicious Seafood, also Alabama Louisiana along the coast. Long Island New York has incredible seafood restaurants we used to go up there and get blue fish all the time, it would come right off the boats you see the fishermen bringing them right to the restaurants and we used to have it from ocean to table within an hour.

Wow, the seafood looks great, the price was just right. I notice that they had waffle and chicken , waffle and fruits for those who don't eat seafood. Hey there j&b had an opportunity to eat there last April everything was excellent will definitely be back this year again we stayed at the greystone Lodge which is where y'all was sitting at in the window to your left you can see the greystone Lodge from the window I believe that's it it's right on the river that's a very nice place to stay too till next video guys keep up the good work God bless

Hey guys your review of your Brunch at The Chesapeake was so impressive and your review of your plates ciouldnt of been anymore complimentary. Living in a beach community I was so impressed of the way they cooked platters 2 different ways and both were yummy. A suggestion only. Next time you eat shrimp pull the tails off and your tails will be sweet and meaty and yummy. Best Wishes. Great review

Shaffers is on the Chesapeake Delaware Canal. You wont find prices like tha though.OH that lobster would be so delicious.

Enjoyed your Busch"s Bean revue. BUT , that crab cake is NOT a Maryland crab cake. Being a Md. native and lived on the water, a true Md. crabcake has chunk crab meat, a little mustard and either cracker meal or bread crumbs and an egg to hold it together , nothing else. The place does have a nice menu and I would most probably eat there but not the crab cake.

Scallops are one of my favorite Seafoods. I have been eating them for over 50 years and I consider myself a scallop expert. First you have to make sure they are dry scallops, many scallops are coming in with water and chemicals added to make the scallops last longer, those have an odd taste and those would make you not like scallops, so you must ask them are they dry scallops or do they have water Added. Dry scallops means all natural nothing done to them whatsoever. Secondly fried scallops taste the best with fresh lemon and cocktail sauce, broiled scallops taste the best with just fresh lemon and melted butter. Large sea scallops are far better than the small bay scallops. Most bay scallops are farm-raised from Asia. I would not eat them unless you can get them wild-caught from the United States. Our sea scallops come from, all the way from Maine, all the way down to North Carolina and are some of the best sea scallops in the world.

We, as a family will not shop or eat at any establishment that does not supply free parking (or at least validate for parking). If you are paying $100.00+ to feed a family of 5, you should not be INSULTED, to then pay for parking, for just being a patron of restaurant/mall... Just Saying
