@@ajaypatwal007 Yeah.. but she is also smart Master -chess player.. So is this like those guys are distracted from a pretty smart young lady are they ?
@@cluelessclown6562 I find it very simple to do, never thought it was a skill that only some possess and then I thought of Andrea and she is very bad at it.
"Demon" is the best way to describe her at that point. She lured him in with the classy beautiful looks and the coy humbleness, and then immediately started flexing on him on the board while having a casual conversation. That was pretty gangster, haha.
It's not really that gangster. Most men are just superficial and shallow af and couldn't think to save their life whenever a hot woman is in their vicinity. That's not her fault, it's the men's fault for being shallow airheads, so I don't think it's fair to call her a demon for that.
@@batorsagandszerelem4474 okay, if you want to get so specific, most people are shallow and airheaded, and can't think past their nose. Many like forming little tribes so they can hate on "the other" instead of actually trying to understand the motive for human interactions and behavior. They make wild allegations they have no intention of substantiating, and spread their ignorance to slowly sour others to be as miserable and conceded as themselves. You are exhibit A. Stop spreading hate. You sound like a shitty person.
@@alexrosario423 Lmao I'm not spreading hate. I'm just pointing out how unfair it is to call her a demon just cause she's pretty and distracting to guys. It's not her fault she's pretty, she didn't choose to be pretty. Guys can choose not to be airheads and focus on the game instead of her looks, but no, they choose to let their dicks get in the way. So she shouldn't be blamed, guys are mainly at fault here. She's not gangster, guys are just shallow.
I like how she castled to distract him from the checkmate threat and then acted like he was making her life difficult by pressing his pawn attack. Then she was "oops, I just checkmated you"
It was more that she had to move the knight from c3 to let her queen in. She pretended that she was scared because he was making her retreat, but all four of its advances were blocked so she *had* to retreat it.
Driving Lyft last night and a half hour after watching some chess on YT as I had a cup of coffee and got set to go out and drive, my first pick up of the night was the Botez Sisters. Having someone go from being in a thumbnail on your YT front page to getting in your car 30 minutes later is pretty surreal. Extremely trippy but VERY cool people and experience. Thank You!
I've played a few of them. They're all characters. Fun games are guaranteed. Just don't bet a meaningful amount of money. As for average strength, I'd ballpark anywhere from 1500 to 1800 fide. Strong club level or thereabouts.
The best part of all of this is that besides the fact that chess is a very interesting and entertaining game.. Here you can see the power of games in general by connecting people the old fashion way. People from all ages, people from different backgrounds but with one thing in common... Joy and chess!
@@tr33mugger yup Me and my homie get on discord every single fucking night Everynow and then we can’t or we might get on for just an hour but most nights we spend 2-5 hours
Don't believe the news spreading hate. 98% of people have no problem getting along with any race especially when they're engaged in a sport. Spread the love not the hate.
Funny...but let me give you a bit of advice. Start doing it or reading something or watching something while you play. When I was about 7 or 8, I started noticing that doing something else that wasn't necessarily creative, ie talking, TV or something, helped me to focus and see the board much better. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but for me, it REALLY opened up my game.
her thrash talk is really clean lol, she kept it pretty tame here but against andrea the other she was completely unleashed, I'd say she's close to Carlini from coffee chess!
Ilr lol she lulls him into a false sense of calm right before she checkmates him saying you’re making me retreat here right as she’s actually moving her queen to a square where it’s mate in one. It even lulled me into thinking the same cuz I was watching the guys reaction not the board I had to rewind after the mate 😅
I have been graced by the youtube lords. Loved this video. Not a chess guy but I do like the game and appreciate its intricacies. That said despite the on screen board I had a hard time following because it was so fast. Also do these chess hustlers always place pieces halfway through two squares?
I castle a lot, even when I don't think it matters. Having your castles together always seems much stronger to me. I'm not good at chess though. I'm capable at most thinking about four or five moves ahead but most times just three because I don't like sitting there for too long thinking about it.
@@jessicabellandy5687 yes, it was good advice. I'm much better now than I was when I played this guy. To be fair though, he was making it hard for me to castle; that's why i didn't castle.
@@SouthernSkeptic She does seem like a nice young lady, but she comes to sleigh (YT wouldn't let me use the properly spelled word) instead of just play!
5:32 Girl: "Your making me think here" Guy: "No not you, nobody makes you think" Girl: "Your making me think" Guy: "You haven't thought in years" 😆😄😆🤣🤣😂😂
i never thought id be obsessed with watching ppl play chess but its so entertaining to watch, especially the botez sisters who seem like such experts at the game
My grandfather could play 5 minute chess but not with me! Lolol I was 60 minute chess. He still played chess with me regularly but I simply never developed to fast mode.
The Americans used to have a term for the visual effect of a stunning looking female. The term was used extensively on the show "Happy Days", it was....."hubba hubba". I rest my case. 🤔👌
The last four moves, this guy is focused on doing unstopped damage with his pawn. He knew she was sharp, should have asked himself why there was no opposition. She knew she could end the game before a rogue pawn put her in check.
His move at the 3:35 mark - was that not two moves with two different pieces ? And she does the same thing at 5:08 mark. Guessing that's an allowable move ? And yes, I'm not a chess player. Therefore, a bit curious.
@2:27 I like when the guy at the other table said (he just got through playing Alex) “lay down Al just lay down”😂 “I have no choice I’m playing with a demon here” 🤣
YOU: “Your making me think.” Oh, Checkmate! Who is the hustler? This guy was giving more sweet talk than trash talk. At least people still shake hands.
I’m a pretty good pool player and tried to hustle this dude a few years ago . Boy , did I get played for a schmuck . There’s ALWAYS someone better , lesson learned .
These guys always manage to intimidate me with the aggressive way they move the pieces physically. Something about the way they act so casual and nice and then throw the piece across the board in a split second catches me off guard and makes me start thinking they just threw a knockout blow and they're just toying with me. I have a lot of respect for Alex being completely confident and unfazed by the street tactics.
I swear these hustlers train themselves that every move of theirs lands their pieces half in one spot and half in another so they can cheat a move down the line. I believe once this guy realizes OP is talented he still can't break the habit of his piece placement.
microphone would be hard depending on the circumstances. But subtitle would be nice since the video is audible but barely. Not many viewers want to crank up the vol to max and replay every 15 secs to catch dialogues that they miss
@@merdishakki Well. To have a microphone that picks up differentially human voice against noisy background outdoor, probably you will need studio microphones, the ones that are attached to rods and dangle from the top which people use filming movies. First, you will need another person who know what they are doing to hold it. Second, it may get into the way of the normal people walking around. Third, the other people getting filmed may not feel comfortable with the professional setting.
I love how the jazz band is playing in the first half of the video. Playing a chess hustler in a dress in the heart of NY while you have a soundtrack in the background must've felt like a movie Also love how all the spectators naturally gravitated to your game
@@qweqwe1324 this is actually just completely wrong. In terms of distribution, she's only top 7%. So that's equivalent to like plat 2 or something. If you give a significant bit of leeway for how many people play chess without official ratings, she's the equivalent of d4 at best.
I'd love if you could subtitle these! I speak and hear English perfectly, but sometimes (this one for example) have a lot of background noise and I barely hear either of you :( I love the banter, would love to know all of it haha
Bro you gotta get your life together. Find true happiness, these are just fake pleasures for yourself to decept yourself and trying to live a dream. Lust is a such crap. It feels real good to loge without it. Trust me i have been there, i got over lust in about 2 years of teying and failing nofap
@@buddingscientist3044 He was just making a joke man. Doesn't mean he isn't happy and his life isn't together. Glad you got over your own issues but I wouldn't cast them on anyone else just for making a stupid joke. Good luck.
The real star of the show is Alex’s dress 😎 Edit: 😭😭 guys I know I know I’m also a woman and I’m complimenting her on her dress because I like it. That’s all 💀
In the old days there used to be a chess game called mail-in-chess or postal chess by US Chess Federation. That's when you mail your every move to your opponent and your opponent does the same. Just imagine how much time it takes for each and every move,😂
I really was expected Alex to give up her queen lmao. Cant believe he fell into that mate. Loved this so much. Can't wait for her to be back on stream and have everyone call her a demon.
He's certainly better than average but his game skills also involve distraction, like a magician, to which she is immune. She toyed with him until he castled queenside and then lowered the boom. The trap was already set. Very entertaining!
Maybe I'm missing something but I'm pretty sure he was already beat at that point. Not because he was out of moves but because he was getting preoccupied with the pawns on that side while the knight just gave way for the queen to get into position for the game-winner.
