Everyone always enjoys another Hikaru Video! DEVELOPERS: Since Hikaru discusses a lot of timely current events, one additional thing that would help a lot for those of us who view these later would be to ADD THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL, LIVE BROADCAST, and always put it in the same place! Nakamura produces so much original content, sometimes the More Hikaru contains _duplicates_ or combinations of earlier videos, which is fine, but I sometimes know that I have seen something before. Also, with so much going on in the world of _Chess_ and _Finance,_ it would help for us RU-vid Consumers to know the date of the original broadcast. - j q t -

The difference between us and Hikaru is pretty simple. Our opponents actually do make these blunders in our games aswell, however Hikaru (and in general higher rated players) will pick up on mistakes almost instantly and punish them, but as lower rated players we do not pick up on them, or it'll atleast take a bit of time, and ofcourse we will make these blunders much more than someone like Hikaru. When we watch Hikaru play it looks so much easier because of these reasons. Improving this skill likely just comes with more experience, and obviously hundreds if not thousands of hours of diligent studying.

Maybe a bigger reason is that he optimizes his development and piece placement to take advantage of any misstep. If you're talking about sub 1k players, they're mostly throwing stuff at each other until one inevitably makes a random blunder. With Hikaru he just maximizes his pressure and gets into the ideal position.
