Chessie Heritage Unit Leads Racks Into Buffalo 

Darkness descends on the CSX Buffalo Terminal Subdivision, part of the former New York Central Water Level Route, as nighttime rail traffic flows in and out of the Buffalo, NY area! After priority intermodal I008 flew past the Buffalo/Depew Amtrak station and Amtrak's Empire Service #283 made its scheduled stop, the main event: autorack manifest sporting the Chessie System heritage unit, coasts by the station platform before slowing for a Medium Approach Medium signal and eventually stopping and tying down just west of Frontier Yard, making for one helluva photo op!
