I really enjoy your videos! they're straight to the point and clear! do you think you can add visuals though, like how some of the equipment looks like? I've been watching all the funds videos for my upcoming test and it's a great review

I find it all helpful. It's something about the way you (and the other nurses) speak. I can hear your voice in my head calmly explaining while I'm taking a test or caring for a patient.

This just makes me so incredibly happy! I remember taking exams and hearing my mentor's voice in my head, so I know exactly what you mean! I'm so happy to be there with you in spirit while you test! --Meris :)

My school asked how long the tubing should be :)
@RNayazTalks
@RNayazTalks 2 года назад
hi meris, you just mentioned that when the tube is disconnected, put the end of tube in sterile water. why is this so??
@RNayazTalks
@RNayazTalks 2 года назад
wont it suck water with breathing?
@LevelUpRN
@LevelUpRN 2 года назад
Great question--putting the end of the tube into sterile water allows for it to act as a water seal to prevent air from entering IN through the tube and into your patient. This is only a temporary solution to keep air out of the patient; you'd need to contact the provider immediately after that. --Meris :)
