Funny how the things you said sound to somebody who knows a bit about the band, like me. - you said you didn't remember his voice being this powerful, but that's one of the things he's most known for -another one of the things he's knows for is all the emotion he brought into the performance, how he out himself into it -Chester said once in an interview that he deliberately held back and hid his 'twang' on studio recordings of LP (said that one of his bandmates suggested that); I assume he let it come out here because it was a live show.

Chester's lyrics have always been amazing and relatable to a lot of us, but given what happened, there are some songs I can't even listen to anymore because they rip me apart emotionally. One More Light is a good example. I love the songs, but I want to crawl into bed with a box of kleenex after hearing them. It sucks.

It's crazy. No one remembers when they first came out how HORRIBLE the whole band even Chester was live. They had to work and work hard to become a good live band. I saw them in 01. The next time I saw them was a year or so before Chester died. It was two COMPLETELY different bands.
