After watching a few of your videos you have inspired me to do walking videos. I have been wanting to change my channel for a while and was doing training for a marathon videos but had to stop training for health reasons. Starting with the video I did today I feel much better mentally so thank you for your videos
I love the walks without talking. The scenery speaks for itself. So many video makers are ego-centric and have to have their faces and voices in every frame. It's all about them.
Yeah I am very much not a fan of all the ego centric videos! I too find that the scenery is very capable of speaking for itself. Much like your name, I like to keep it simple! 😊👍
Hello!🌞 This walled city is AMAZING! So glad you brought us viewers here! Historical and such a pleasure to walk around! Just like we were there!! Thank you Dave, so appreciative. 🦋
What I like about these, is when you stop and feature key points along the way. It adds such a wonderful quirk to an already memorable walk. Great job man.
I've never been to Chester, but I've been to York and walked the walls there. Very cool of the Romans to leave them. I'm glad you got out to enjoy this one. I noticed that the racetrack is the world's oldest - from 1539!
Just perusing your older walks and fell in love with this. Didn't know about the Chester City Walls. Would love to have walked it myself when I was there. Did the Walls of York which I believe was 7 miles if I'm not mistaken. I succeeded in making it 14 what with getting lost, backtracking, going over the same sections more than once or twice. Made a complete mess of it. Still a great day out. I would love to watch your video of the York walk if you have time or haven't done it already. My favourite part of the Chester City Walls is at the 10.15 min mark. It looks so beautiful likes it's frozen in time. You never cease to amaze me with your videos. Again so jealous and another great piece of work. Many thanks and great job 👍👍👍
Chester to najpiękniejsze miasto świata ❤❤❤❤ Chester powinien zorganizować letnie igrzyska olimpijskie 😊😊 Powinno być połączenie PKP Intercity z Luboń k/Poznania do Chester przez Puszczykowo, Puszczykówko, Wrocław Muchobór, Zgorzelec Miasto, Görlitz, Callais 😊
What a great walk. Distancing is a problem on the wall. The footage from the bridge is wonderful. We must film there when the madness of this pandemic is over. Thank you. ❤️🌈👍
Feeling sad watching this. Not been since before Christmas and pining. I love Chester and visit every couple of months normally stopping over for a night or 2 to visit lots of lovely pubs and walk thousands of steps to burn off the beer. Can't wait to get back
I think were on the home stretch now to be back to near enough normality. The day will come where where we can bask in the sunlight with a pint in hand.
I can't help but notice the number of citizens not wearing masks during this pandemic. Otherwise, it's arguably one of your most picturesque walks Dave. Thanks.
The walls 🧱 surrounding Chester look really long I've noticed. The city 🏙️ looks very roman and yet victorian and medieval in style. Here in England we have a TV programme on channel 4 called Hollyoaks which is set in and around Chester and was originally filmed in Chester before production movied to a suburb of Liverpool in 2000.
Used to enjoy a bit of Hollyoaks when I was a teenager.. Some of the original characters are still in the series today I believe. Good old Tony Hutchinson!
@@DavesWalksHe's been in the show for 28 years. It just isn't Hollyoaks without Tony. Darren Osborne, his dad Jack Osborne, Cindy Cunningham, her brother Tom Cunningham, Darren's wife Nancy Osborne, Ste Hay, Mercedes McQueen, her brother John Paul McQueen, Sienna Blake and Maxine Minniver have been in the show for some time too, although some of them aren't original characters but it wouldn't be the same without them either.
This is one of the most unique and beautiful places in the entire world, yet there is awful modern and low effort architecture scattered around. We need a cull.
