I once asked a very skilled player (Bobby Gibson) why more people don't cover the tunes on my favorite album "Chet Atkins Picks on Jerry Reed." He replied that it takes three guitar players to make it sound like the record: Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, and sideman Paul Yandell.

Great post. Tunes like "Baby's Coming Home", "Wildwood Flower" and others in that select company are gently blissful, and (to me) are like catching an unexpected fragrance of heaven, immediately capturing the heart by its beauty.

I wish this version of this song was on iTunes. All I have is the Michael Fix version featuring Tommy Emmanuel, which is still good, but personally I like this version better.

Paul: not sure you will see this after 8 months, but here's a good trick for you: it converts any RU-vid post into a just audio MP3 file - perfectly readable by iTunes!
