Chevelle is My Favorite Band, if You’ve never seen them live, be ready they’re so Awesome!! At the Houston show they killed it and even gave a guitar to this little kid!!
Holy shit the sound of the bass through my AirPods sounds just like I’m there. I just watched a whole korn concert and it didn’t sound this good… great work
Great set & brilliant footage, stunning lighting & visuals on this tour! Fingers crossed they get back to the UK at some point as I'd love to see them live.
Was in a band played with them at a show...they were down to earth good guys and loved their music and I'm not better than you attitude not so much for benjamin!
@@balkee42 Umm, what? They played four songs from Niratias (Verruckt, Self Destructor, Pistol Star and Mars Simula). The problem to me is is, they always play the same four. I mean, I do love all those songs, and I'm especially happy they made Pistol Star a live staple despite it not even being a single, but what about the other ones? So Long Mother Earth? Peach? Ghost And Razor? So many bangers on that album, wouldn't hurt if they played a few more of them everyonce in a while.
@@graylord69 thats what im sayin. I mean verruckt barely counts. They released Peach as a single but never played it. I think they played mother earth once or twice. I dunno. They hav such a great discography but rarely play any deep cuts
@@balkee42 niratias is a trip of an album, kinda reminds me of La Gargola a bit w the experimentation. But if they were to go into some deep cuts I would beg them to play VS songs cuz it’s my fav album but I have a feeling Pete wants to forget that one lol
They played literally nothing from "Sci Fi Crimes". (if you ask me) their best album. It's wild these live sets get defined and commited to without outside influence. Did Sci-Fi Crimes get produced under duress or something? We all needed to hear the 10000th iteration of "The Red"? Really? Yikes.
I saw these guys open for Filter a long time ago. The crowd was the lamest crowd I've ever seen. My friends and I walked out early into Filter's set because it was really just terrible. I was surprised because Filter seemed like a cool band but the crowd was a bunch of preppy dorks. I heard people yell "let's do the mosh thing!" and some people pushed into me. I pushed back after the wave carried me back a bit and like ten people fell on their asses and everyone in the crowd was giving me this incredulous look. I don't know what pussified world I had stepped into, but at about the same time my friends casually walked THROUGH THE MOSH PIT to ask if I wanted to get out of there. We went across the street to a convenience store where Chevelle happened to also be. I remember they noticed us looking at them and said "yay... Chevelle.." or something. We chatted for a minute or so and told them we were at the show but Filter sucked so we left. We then showed them a place to get something to eat and we parted ways. I've never really listened to Chevelle other than at that show, but it was alright! Seems like a Tool knockoff, but it was alright. I've only walked out of one other show early, and that was some crazy death metal band where tons of 6'5"-ish leather/tatted/shaved head biker crazy guys were smashing beer bottles and cutting everyone up (no joke), so I decided that wasn't quite my scene.
