I have a 2016 cruze. My son is driving my car out at the moment. He is saying car is saying 13.2 or 13.4 voltage drop. Is this something i should worry about. It doesnt normally display any warning
Can you tell me how to diagnose if the current sensor is bad I have changed the alt the ground the idler pulley the battery still having random voltage drop some times it holds 13.6 to 13.8 at 2k rpm the next time it will drop to 12.9 and won’t charge over until I shut the car off then when I start it it will balance out
Any help my Chevy sonic 1.4 I change the alternator brand new. I change the battery and I change the battery sensor at the negative I check all the wiring alternator is charging the battery. The alternator is charging battery, but I still have the battery on.
I have been getting the BATT light come on for a few mnutes then go out again. The battery was checked and it is in great condtion. All terminals and other electrical connections have been checked and cleaned. It a very low milage (48,000 km) 2011 Cruze with the 1.8 engine. ny ideas what may be happening?
This very same issue appeared on mine today. After a while driving the ABS and ESP lights went on and of course check engine. After stopping and idling a moment the lights went out again.
It ended up being a very poor ground between the alternator and the mount to the engine. We had to actually run two grounds from each alternator attach bolts to the frame. It solved the issue right away.
@@joedevitto6113 12.6 engine off and running the voltage differs depending on the charging schedule. But it works exactly how it should since the extra grounding points were added.
My battery started giving me trouble for quite a few days. The voltage before starting the engine I at 10.2-11.4 seconds me thing. But keeps discharging for every two days. I don’t know why. I got the battery tested that said it’s good. Then tested the started and alternator at Oreliyes. That said everything is good. Then why the battery is discharging? It’s happened 3 times over the last one week.
My Cruze battery lights blinks and stereo system restarts to default when ever engine start.. other than that all working perfectly.. what is the issue
@@parallaxviewstft3921 I havent heard of a recall as of yet . seems like theres a lot with this same thing im always keeping an eye on that voltage when driving sometimes it will come down to 14.9 but back up. it used to be at 14.3 all the time i might try putting in a new battery its 3 years old i dont want to be stuck anywhere , but it starts and no battery lights come on .. this is really odd. i tell ya
