Thanks Matt! I have the added "Issue" of living in Cali. But I'm not gonna let that stop me from buying and installing a 49 state model. I looked at the current unit and it already looks like it's not the "Original".
What was the rock that you used to remove high spots? Audio wasn't very good at that point but that seems like something that is pretty important. Especially when DIYing it
I'm trying to do this, but the rear O2 sensor will not budge and make it near impossible to get that 3rd bolt on the end of the Cat. Hot it with penetrating oil and let it soak in for 30min, but still no go. Any tips?
Honestly, I recommend either one of these set. I own tools from both brands and like their products. GEARWRENCH 8 Pc. Sensor and Sending Socket Set amzn.to/3vS4Oev ARES 10-Piece Oxygen Sensor Socket Set amzn.to/3uKHbDf
Thanks Matt! I got the same Beast('07 4 Cylinder) and this has to be done. But you lost me on the "Tapping". Did you have to tap 2 locations on the new assembly?...One just one? What went into that mounting hole? Did you need to Tap completely...Or just chase-out the threads? I am also concerned about having to remove the exhaust hanger but if it's gotta be done, then I'm sure your tips will help. Anyone else who knows the answers, Please Chime-In!
I scan Diagnostic on my 2010 Chevy Malibu with FIXD. My car recently just lost power while driving like it was running out of gas. But I wasn't. I tried adding gas it doesn't work. It still sound like Im out of gas. So when I used FIXD P0420 popped up. Could this be the reason my car just turned off on me. And What is the best thing to do if I cant get it to a license mechanic? Can the Catalytic Converter Cause This? I was thinking just replacing everything that a P0420 can be connecting with for I wont have a future problem
@@bashrodriguez3790 For bolts like these, I tend to use a six-point sockets instead of the twelve-point sockets. Soak nuts with penetrating oil for a few hours or maybe heat them with a torch. If using heat, the hottest part of the flame is the tip of the inner flame. Can try tapping the flat side of the nut with a hammer to loosen or a hammer and punch.
Yes, that is a sore spot for me. A dog’s personality is indicative of the owner. The neighbor’s wife was mental. They tore down my fence and stole some of my land. I went to put the fence back in the original location and they called the police and lied (false testimony). The cop knew he was lied to but arrested me anyway costing me $15,000. Then I took the neighbors to small claims and the judge change the subject of case and said there was no loss on my part. The justice system is corrupt and not reliable.
@@badmatt4227 wait why would you be arrested? Also why don’t you get a land survey for the property lines. Take that report to court and you’ll be able to sue for the cost of the fence, lawsuit fees, and for any “pain and suffering” you may have suffered. Even if they’re broke they probably have insurance and that’s where your payday will come from!
