We're used to seeing utes everywhere on our roads, but not like this. The Silverado is big - like properly American-big. That's it's strong point, but also it's weak point. Does it fit the roads of the South Pacific? Or, is it too cumbersome to bother with?

Nice 👍🏼 Saw one in the wild for the first time a couple of days ago, looked sweet on the road. They’ve facelifted for MY22 in the U.S. and the interior is now quite impressive in terms of being quite upmarket in feel and appearance but given you can’t even buy them with the new interiors over in their home market yet it’ll be a long time ’till you see them hit our roads. Apparently it a chip shortage issue 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great review from your mates in Australia. Australian roads are rather small, so it'll be interesting to see how this ute will go here. Our roads are exactly why the Holden Suburban of the late 90s and early 2000s failed, cuz of how big it was. But, so far the Silverado's doing just fine!

Thanks for your feedback Element. Guess there’ll always be some who will tolerate a bit of inconvenience in tighter spaces for the upside of tow-power, physical road presence and cavernous internal accommodations. The fact that the Silverado is cleverly pretty fuel efficient certainly softens some of the pain of owning this behemoth. Cheers for watching. Blu.

Thanks dude. Like I said… you’re definitely always conscious of its dimensions but, truth be told, I never felt I couldn’t get it somewhere or get it turned around. Good morning from America. I love your review. But I disagree with what you say about the size and speed of this truck. I own the exact truck you are reviewing. I know it’s how to describe. But the truck “drives” a lot smaller than the behemoth dimensions would have you believe. Parking in a parking lot is when I wish I used my Corolla. But when I step on the gas and I hear the V8 symphony soundtrack played live under the hood or bonnet. It’s music to my ears. The truck absolutely flies for something so big and heavy. Going down the highway it rides likes it’s on pillows. And I can squeeze up to 24 mpg on the highway if I have the discipline to not push on the go pedal at random reckless moments of thinking I’m a teenager again. Anyways. 👍 awesome review
