I had an adapter made, and my engine has the air compressor, so it worked out for me. I ran the hydraulic clutch system from south bend and works great

i called Fuller. they said a custom backing plate would need to be made.. "good luck with that". then i would need a remote mounted transfer case would need to be purchased. Also no hydraulics. air compressor and tank. 60 psi to shift the gears
Can you skip more gears or what? Seems like a lot of work to get to 40 lol. Still really cool and probably insane for towing. Never low on power with that I’m sure.
I did the same thing that u did only mine is a RT6610 not an RTO (which i wish it was...) but what is your top speed in 10th gear? And are u running 4.10 gears or 3.73??
Nice i just switched to 3.73 a couple days ago and there is a difference but still not impressed so id like to do 3.42 because my new top speed with the 3.73s is 85 (thats with the motor screaming) but the only problem is that if i do 3.42 i wouldnt be able to match my front gears.... i have a gm 14 bolt 10.5" ring in the back and in my front i have a dana 44 and the only gears that those 2 match is 4.10s and 3.73s otherwise all the gears below that are like a 0.10 difference. for example i want to put in 3.42s in my rear and the closest that i can get to that in the front is a 3.54 so they obviously dont match so yeah....
Couple of things, how much throw does that release arm need in the trans from free pedal to clutch brake engaged, and where did you get your dash pad. Is it a complete oad or just a cover
The clutch brake works off of a push button air valve that gets pushed right before the pedal hits full travel. The clutch brake itself is a friction plunger that bolts into the 6 bolt pto cover. The dash is a stock dash with gauges installed
@@crewcab84 sounds like a short I think. I know mine is a tall tower and it takes a lot of force to shift. But to go from 2nd through neutral to third it takes about 3 inches of stroke
