Looks like a lot of fun. Careful in your swap... looks like it took a little sip of water as you were struggling to get out on the far side. Fender flares will help keep you from filling the box (and therefore the air cleaner) full of water, but you may want to invest in a snorkel and somehow keep that dizzy dry.

That radiator placement scares the shit outta me. If it blows a hose, or one of those Plastic tanks cracks, somebody is in for lots of skin grafts.

Wow thats the cool thing I've seen in a long time. I want that so bad. The first time that I've ever hit 150mph was in 1997. It was a chevy custom deluxe with a 350 in it. The owner was a mechanic and he said the truck made a little over 500hp. That truck ran 10s in the 90s. It was scary fast. But ya the chevy 350 is one of the most iconic engines ever produced. It can make a huge amount of power

You should consider moving the Radiator away from the driver/passenger. Could get really ugly in an overheat or if a hose was to come off.

I’ve never said that’s a cool death trap. I have an original Mue 550 and it’s sketchy for the passenger wide open because they don’t have anything to hold on to and you’re sitting on a slick school bus seat. No way you can get all of a 350ci Mue. Burnout straight line stuff maybe. Pulling stumps on the farm for fun. Pull that seat belt up , you’re gonna need it later.

Carefully remove the Edelbrock carb, gently walk outside and heave that POS into the pond. Slap a Holley EFI system on it and dont look back. That thing has tons of potential and would have to be a grin to drive. I highly suggest 2 good sets of harnesses and if it was me, racing seats and some cage work. That thing is Killer! but watch the tooth pick axle's in those samurai diff's. The mini Birfields in the front are very susceptible to exploding when loaded down in reverse and turned. there are lot's of Chromo shaft's available if they haven't been done.
