Like many seems way back, just didn’t last forever. How many , I remember doing a quick overhaul, that would run maybe 30 tho miles before blowing oil again. Took till nearly the 80 before material in the blocks would stand. We didn’t expect much back then anyway. You could buy everything needed to do the job for less than 100 dollars. Buy a set of pistons for about the same and have it bored for 5 dollars a hole. 13 to 1 pistons and good leaded gas was lots of fun.
