I have to agree with Mr. Volpini as I own several gmade jeeps.. my 1st crawler rig is on the shelf gmade. Good truck for the right person needs upgrades like every rtr ..Great Video Thanks.
The GMade chassis' are well made, fit and finish is very good, excellent performance and handling. The RTR does have some flaws (mainly electronics) but what RTR doesn't?! As always with lesser known brands, parts can be an issue but with AMain carrying them that should make it much better. Btw, the Gmade shocks are notoriously over-sprung and Gmade fills them with a light oil that exacerbates the problem. Hence, the bouncing. Thanks for the review, nice truck! 👍
It's not bad at all. There is a truck for everyone in this hobby. Would I own one.... probebly not. But that's me. I like the fact that there is a truck for everyone.
Neat truck! I don't like to be critical because you spend a lot of time and money bringing us these reviews. But, I was a little disappointed with the cut to running video when you were demonstrating the [unique] body attachment system. Other than that, great stuff as always. Thanks!
You say unfortunately black windows, right but in this case I find all black very nice. It's a sort of self standing thing, It does not want to be like reality it jus goes on rocks and river and so on. I like it. Ciao Nanni
I have the bom gs02f version. Love it but all it does is destroy the diff gears every outing, either rock crawling or trails just chews the teeth off. Wish they made upgraded gears!
Disappointed there’s a huge difference in the body of the rtr but you show lot version video from your other video shortcuts to your fame ain’t my game. Do it perfect or don’t. How do I know what else is different from the kit and rtr.. I’m about to drop big money on one used and thought your video will help
@@benmoen I’m on my fourth bevel gear and it’s started ticking again. I run lead weights in my wheels but I have not had similar problems with axial or Traxxas
I'd say this is geared higher more for trails because it's faster than most crawlers , still a good crawler but you can't add rotation mass and not use for crawling , take the weight out when you want fly around . I have gen8 and sure if I beat on it enough it break Portal gear but if I just use for crawling it last forever . The trx more durable for beatings but it's not as unique stock form
