Love this, absolutely awesome, more and more R/C RU-vidr collabs need to happen more often with AMain Hobbies and beyond. Everyone in this video are great RC content creators on RU-vid. They do so much for our R/C Community and Hobby, thank you all for everything you do in our hobby. 😎💥🔥🙂
Nice video. I like to install an engine simulator on my fms fcx10 k5, but I could not find out the throttle line. Could you help me with that? Thanks a lot.
Francis, concerning your cons, you didn’t mention or discuss that this model has 3 different modes of operation. These may have changed your feeling on how it crawls. Sport Mode is for all-around driving, or Trail Mode for smooth drag braking on steep descents. Lastly, for a smooth scale look while creeping over technical terrain, Crawl Mode applies full brakes the instant the throttle is released and allows drivers to continue through to reverse without a second push on the trigger. Hope this helps and please let us know your input after you reevaluate using this new info. Happy to Help ! ! !
I love Amain Hobbies. I buy most of my RC stuff online there. parts, cars, trucks. they usually have what i need. Living 250 miles in the middle of nowhere it is very hard to get parts so I have to shop online. When i call Tech support the guys know what they are talking about and helped me so much. I hope this store lasts for ever.
I'm very excited I ordered this video I have not got it yet so I seen the video and because the stock radios that I was getting with the couple of my vehicles did not have any range at all and I'm used to the old futaba never had issues until this new junk, can't even use the stock radio on rtr anymore, I won't mention names.
I would like to see AMain with their acquisition of Hobby Town, stock more brands other than Arrma and Traxxas in their stores. Brands like Team Associated, Losi, Tekno, etc. Being a former racer in my youth, these brands were instrumental in my enjoyment of the hobby and I find being back in the space that parts and options for these brands have been difficult to obtain outside of my local brick and mortar hobby store. I have spent countless dollars buying the wrong parts or options because of not knowing exactly what the cars need or with work with them. Just a thought. Appreciate the video, amazing store and story on how AMain started. I hope this continues to grow and flourish.
Wow, that's an impressive hobby shop. Me and a great friend of mine went to Omaha, Nebraska for a TCS race and it was held at a Hobby Town USA and I thought that shop was nice along with the carpet track downstairs but looking at A Mains setup, its very impressive. Thank you for bringing this to your site, I enjoyed it a great deal. A Main is always my first on-line go to because of their customer support and excellent buying experience, at least for me.
Yeah, Chico, CA is very lucky to have this shop. I'm in the Bay Area, CA and we have no big shops to serve the massive number of rc'ers around here. Great shops and tracks are so key for keeping and growing the hardcore rc folks.
Ever since getting back into RC as an adult during the pandemic, I knew Amain was a good company I was happy to support. But this awesome new facility and now seeing and hearing from its founder just makes it that much more personable. And even better to hear how the stores will be playing an increasing part in the future. I suppose there's an argument against them and putting independent hobby shops out of business, but this is a free market. Grow or die. 🤷♂
Yup, these are good dudes. Amazon could care less if every single hobby shop shut down. But Amain knows the future of the hobby is dependent on new folks coming into hobby shops for their first rc car. They bought the entire Hobbytown franchise so they can help them innovate online and have really efficient inventory management.
Couldn't agree more! The humble beginnings and commitment to e-commerce excellence, retaining the best workers have allowed them to thrive in difficult times.
Well, you don’t have to do much to beat Horizon Hobby. They are thieves. After a recent purchase with them, they went back and charge my credit card more despite me having a receipt proving the total was a lower amount. I contacted them, but they didn’t have any timeline as to when they would or could issue a refund. PayPal solved it. I’ll never purchase from HH again. I’ll add that I purchased from AMain recently as well, and it was an excellent experience.
I just compared it to an Ultra4 chassis and it's technically 1/15.5 scale. However, I would assume that Axial deliberately called it 18th scale because it's filling the space that was once occupied by the Losi Mini Crawler. I think they were hoping to revive that market segment. I bought one a year ago and just got another recently. One is set up as a hardcore comp mini. The other is a rock bouncer, crawl/bash combo. Both are insanely fun and when set up right (with minimal budget) can do ALL 10th scale lines for scale rigs, and at least 90% of 10th scale lines for comp rigs.
Same building and warehouse for sure. They used to ship rc and bike purchases in the same box to save the customer shipping. But it proved troublesome for customers getting confused.
A little naive on how basic economics works are we? California is the 5th largest economy in the world, I highly doubt you've never bought from a business there. How many "Made in China" stickers are within your arm's reach? Do you fill up your dad's truck with oil drilled from countries with deplorable human rights records?
Obviously, just a hater, the internet shop is global, so the location is irrelevant. They have a huge stock and discount codes every month plus loyalty points.
@@virtualreality4me544 I'm in South Wales UK I've ordered from them a couple of times..awesome store...what he ment was I want everything but can't afford anything..😆👍
Obviously someone who knows nothing about what they are speaking about. Having dealt with every major online rc company, A Main is the easiest to deal with and prices are competitive with them all. And if you have any trouble with a product, or god forbid an order, NOBODY else comes close.

We never got to the end of this review. Perhaps you should get the new Zuul with the same front IFS and the Gatekeeper back suspension. I got me one and it surprised the heck out of me. It's super capable right out of the box (save for the tiny tires). A set of good wheels and tires and you are done! A big surprise... and it looks great too!!
Hi Thank you for the very helpful video. I have an Integy MC01 Super Class Monster Crawler Pro Kit 1/8th It needs two motors for each axial. Will two Fusion SE 1200kv have enough power to run the truck? also enough to drag a baby stroller? Or do you have other motors to recommend? What is an good ESC for them? I have DuraTrax LiPo Onyx 2S 7.4V 5000mAh 35C Hard Case Battery with Deans Plug DTXC1965 is it the right one for the system?
Yeah i had that red amazon/chinese servo in my rustler 4x4 vxl it lasted less than a year also the tsm didn't worked with it (technically it works but it can't keep the car straight too weak to pull back once i try to steer to the opposite direction) 10/10 not recomment that one...
In Italia costa 1250 euro :piu o meno..pensi che così costoso valga una simile cifra?e poi spendere ancora per i pezzi di ricambio?grazie, ottimo video 5:14
