I was trying to replace mine and it was hard to get out but I guess you just have to use a little more force. I didn't want to take off the bumper, lol.

I was told I have to remove the bumper first on my Chevy cobalt 2009 first to get the headlight out is that true? No matter how much I try to jimmy it out I can’t get the front headlights out.

I got into an accident and my Entire headlight is damaged and needs replaced. Do I need to buy a new wiring harness and brackets as well or can I just swap those out and put them on the new headlight? Also if it’s only coming on when the brights are turned on does mean The wiring harness likely needs replaced as well?

I have a Cobalt Coupe and I have no issues getting the unit out. The problem is when I put it back in I cannot get the 2 bottoms tabs to fit into the slots.

To bad we cannot just replace that front headlight plastic cover that is so oxidized.

Does it require weather stripping?

Why are chevys so complicated?
