Helpful. Watched without audio the first time. Camera work in future could use Steady cam device. Yeah it expensive so maybe just slowing down your movement. Liked that you preset all the disassembled parts. For me having this very van was a bonus too and have taken the fan cowl off before.. No Fun..

Hello, thanks for letting me know ! No timing belt on these trucks ... they have timing chain and no need to replace.

Why not just drop the power steering pump out through the bottom instead of removing all the stuff from the top

@DonnieLoW446 I'm the company mechanic where I work, we have 22 Chevrolet express vans and box trucks. Every power steering pump I change, I pull it from the bottom. Saves loads of time

So you dont have to remove the fan and shroud?

@@teal_2v338 It helps to pull the filter housing and fan shroud out so you can access the lines through the engine bay easier. However, you do not HAVE to remove the entire alternator and power steering pump bracket just to replace the power steering pump. The pump will drop out through the bottom.

@teal_2v338 And to add to that, it does make it easier to remove the fan/fan clutch, because you can get your pulley puller on and remove the pulley more easily.
