Just an update, I ended up swapping the old seat belts off the original seats and replacing them for 2 reasons, being a big boy I wanted the seatbelt looser than 1 inch and once I pulled the the dodge seat belt clip the bracket holding it to the tray was razor thin! I’m assuming it’s that way because dodge thought only children would be in these seats. Idk 🤷♂️, I’d highly recommend swapping the the original ones . Thanks for watching!!!
Man I love when people don't follow what everyone else has done. Cavi or sunfire seats look cheap. The is dope 👌 Thanks for investing the time and presenting this🤘
I'm also modifying my 2.2 I'm waiting for motor and transmission. Thinking about doing a swap for both (if I can the trans). But rn is all cosmetics and amenities
I like my 4.3/4sod automatic but the old sbc is bad ass too. If I was into serious power I'd go sbc bc I'm old school.for regular driving my 4.3 is enough for me. It's as strong as an old 305. Don't go 305. @@colesmith4694
@@madmike_9343 before I cut them out to replace them, nothing changed on them so both still work. Just keep the button latches and original seatbelts from the s10 intact.
How comfy are these seats? 2nd row seats in any vehicle are notoriously terrible. However they HAVE to be an upgrade to the rotten falling apart seats we all have.
It made a huge difference for me, even though I have a exhaust system that is essentially “straight pipe”, it cut down the droning, road noise and fuel pump noise. I also have a 2018 Silverado and it drives me crazy how loud the road noise is! I plan to put it into the Silverado too.
I’m about to do this, just gotta find the seats I like. Also, did that center console come in your truck? Mine has the 60/40 bench seats so I’m trying to find center consoles like that to fill in the center
Mine came out without issue. I live in south Texas though. I’d try hitting it once a day with PB blaster for a week if I were you, the try to remove it
Apply heat, the factory uses loctite (a lot of it) on seat and seat belt hardware. About 3-5 minutes with a butane torch and they'll come out like butter.
I’m in the process in converting mine into a floor shift instead of column. Just to make it more bad ass with the cammed 5.3 and a floor shifter in place.
I’m 5’0 or at least the last time I went to the doc I was anyways the seats in my blazer are small as hell and can’t see over the dash my mom used to drive it a lot and she’s shorter than me don’t know how she sees but
@@justinnelson1 oh I painted that one, just call around junkyards, they are getting really hard to find I’ve considered make some out of fiberglass, a lot of people ask about them.. s10s are becoming a classic
@@madmike_9343 I've been to a few junkyards lol, just didn't know that those were the primary place. It's crazy that I can't find those online though, every time I look them up I see ram parts.
