Thanks for sharing, great video Also a mechanic used compressed air at 40 psi to crack it open.

hope it went well, my other videos show the progression so far it seems good.

just asking.. if the inlet for that accumulator was pushing from the the bottom on the inside. why would the piston be on the top? seems like there would be no way to compress the piston if its all ready on the top. did your fix, fix the problem? larry

my problems are never fixed, lol. pin hole that fills it on the side. goes thru the side wall. no worries. filter changes, fluid flushes, some other videos show other parts that were replace aswell. i believe i have been lucky and all it really comes down to.

Found a OBD 2 code that calls for a Trans slipping. It was in history, found info calling for the TCC Valve boring or valve body replace. I will update when the item gets here, I do have one for 95 up to 99 4l60e I will kep you posted. The trans shops never said anything about this being an issue, but there is some info I'll get for anyone and post up a new video Thanks for watching guys!

Thanks for the upload dude. I got a few questions if you don't mind. I have a 96 C 1500 that's doing the same thing but it's kind of intermittent. It only shifts hard after it warms up and I've been driving for a bit and was wondering if yours is doing the same. Mine also kind of stays suspended in gear after I let off the brake rather than Lurch forward. Was also wondering if you had the same issue. I feel like it's losing pressure after I've been driving for little bit. Sometimes I can still grab here almost like you're letting off the clutch in a standard transmission. I'm trying to rule out any serious issues internally before I go gung ho on this thing. I've also thought about shift solenoids as a factor as well. Again I appreciate the upload and any kind of feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks dude stay safe out there

Yeah bud, I cut my teeth on the 88-98. 96 should still be a 700r4 tho you sound like your on the right track with pressure loss. Buddy of mine that is a mechanic drove my truck when it was real bad and had no answers said maybe need new trans. So months later I stopped back in and a Tundra was doing the SAME thing and he fixed it by doing the torque converter, said it fixed it BC of the pressure dropping and causing bad shift points also causing the bands to fail, I think the Toyotas have the same issues as ours. Shift Solenoids are Still not a back idea with a fluid drop. One other thing thats even easier might be a TPS (throttle position sensor:) heard that makes a clutch slip feel, but get online like a cheap o one if it fixes or feels bit better invest in a Life Time one at the local store, I tell ppl that come to mine all the time to do that, but im still just a "Parts Changer" not a mechanic lol, man I hope it helps a bit> Thanks For Watching!

@@fatalstreet1650 thanks for responding to me dude. It does actually have the 4l60e. I thought I had to 700R4 when I first bought it. Bought the wrong parts and everything haha. That's why I suspected solenoid issue or some kind of sensor but I don't think my year has trouble codes for the transmission. I read up on the TPS and replaced it just for giggles. I'm sure it was the original so it didn't hurt but it didn't fix the problem either. I stumbled across this accumulator and it seemed like the more logical issue. I'm a parts replacer myself dude so I know what you mean haha just trying to pick your brain and see if you had the same symptoms as myself. I was going to drop the pan again and try the solenoids but I think I might inspect this accumulator and venture down that road as well. Thanks again for the response man. Totally appreciate it

@@09nedly09 You bet man, my truck had only a slight clutch slip feel that would rarely happen think maybe 3 times I can think of. But my issues with the actuator was a hard slam into 2nd from 1st. Felt like getting rear ended. The update I did about it slamming again was my ubolts on driver side came loose and was kicking the rearend up during shifts, I'm doing a video on that this week, fun working on your daily SMH. Bro keep me posted, I would plan to do the converter but if pull the damn thing I have rear main and other plans lol, but do keep me posted bud!

Put the corvette 2-4 servo in..... that will fix the problem ....your servo #2 lock-up piston is worn and leaking is why it's shifting hard ...!

Doesn’t work, changes mine twice and still hard shift, to the point it broke both motor mounts

Not the only thing done to my pig, TCC valve, shift 12 and 34 solenoids have been changed, and as stated I think someone has been inside mine well before i got this truck, Org. owner was wealthier than I could ever be, not knowing its full life. He may have broken it and had it upgraded for the times, mine still shifts hard but with the rain it just spins tyres 1-3 lol. I'm sorry to hear about the mounts, I have new ones to go in and I have 3in body w/headers still wont do it. good luck man
