To be honest I really don’t know why this is happening but it is very common problem with flex fuel truck. That being said I own 2004 chevy suburban for last 12 years flex fuel and I even used E87 in past but never had this happened to me.
I have an 03 Silverado having the p0175 issue but it's on the flex fuel vehicle on a bank too I'm having negative pressure as well what would be the best way to figure out what's wrong with it and I only use ethanol-free gas 87 in it ? Thank you
I would do injections balance test to check fuel flow through injectors.Unfortunately you need to have equipment to do that test. Most likely you have injector that spray too much fuel.
If you don't have the scan tool to reset, how about just filling it with E85, should get the alcohol content in the right ballpark? Happy Thanksgiving!
I would do it if fuel trim would not go back to normal after test drive. In this case it was obvious what the problem was. But I did ask owner if he used E87 and he didn’t.
Do non flex fuel suvs have this problem too? I have a 2008 suburban 6.0 I have rich codes bank 1-2 I can’t get rid of them I changed maf, temp switch, thermostat, air cleaner I have -25 LTFT both banks.
