Wondering how to fix Tahoe door handle? Just replace the complete panel.
One of the most common things on Chevrolet Tahoe is problem with the driver door panel. The plastic underneath it cracks from usage and then the complete door panel has to be replaced. Since I did this multiple times, I made this door panel removal video.
If you are replacing the inner door handle, don't try just to pry it out because you will break it. There are two 7mm screws holding in on the reverse side of the door panel. Only way to safely change the inner door handle is to completely remove the panel.
To remove the panel, there are three screws holding it. Also a few plastic pieces will have to be removed and than the panel can be pried out. Watch the video for the exact instructions.
