Just saw ur vid & purposely searched for rear fuse box components on 05 envoy. I own a quite clean xl. My door locks went out and only lock manually. Rear lift gate wont lock without taking the panel off to do it manually. Rear wipers are dead also. I spent yesterday going thru 20+ trailvoys at the parts yard. Man are ppls mom mobile's nasty! Im a mechanic and full confession im just being lazy. Found one dead fuse for lgm#2. Didnt want to test relays either. Went to pull the module attached to the tailgate and swap it out. Took all extras from the tray but not the bcm as you call it. Didnt want to pull out my book, wherever it is, either. Swapped the module, which might require programming, and all relays but no luck. Its snowing and figured utube was nicer than pulling out my meter to properly test components. If weather gets better maybe i will pull a BCM off a junker tmrw instead of doing the correct task of testing connections. Guess thats how some Mx earn the rep as parts changers. I just dont give a flip about the wife's wheels at this point. She breaks it and i fix it, both at work & home. Ive also troubleshot and replaced the main fuse block under the hood years ago. It was for an ignition issue and total power loss intermittent while driving. They have known defective units from flawed design and cheap production. No breaks on the board but a hair split in one circuit cut power to the whole show. Thanks for your video and maybe this response helps someone else thats feel lazy for a minute while eating dinner. Tacos!
I'm trying to hardwire my dashcam to this fuse box in an 05 gmc envoy denali. I have everything connected, but I can't find any metal without paint/coating to ground to. I have about 8 inches of ground wire to work with. Any ideas?
I didn't search for the video, it came up on my feed itself. I do own a Trailblazer but its a LT with the 5.3 V8. I'm guessing that's why it popped up. I watched it anyways cuz Im bored like you said lol. I AM curious as to why it needed replaced. You immediately went to vomit which is pretty funny.
:D haha!! Man I love comments like this. Rare to see an LT with the 5.3!!! I bought this one just for the drivetrain for a 1968 Chevelle. I'll post a video of it. I really don't know how this part could fail unless there are and defects from the factory. Or vomit. Maybe pee? Idk man, kids are weird. haha Someone asked to buy it, so I did a video!
@@TheGaginator Overall good video my friend. Gotta laugh out of it too which is a bonus. I am interested in the 68 Chevelle video. I'll be watching for it.
