In this clip, Chi Ali spoke about meeting Nipsey Hussle, and saying that calling him a “good dude” is an understatement. He said Nipsey was a beautiful soul and that he cried for 15 minutes after hearing the news of the rapper’s death, even though they only met and saw each other a total of 2-3 times.
From there, Chi Ali and Vlad talked about how people are dying over words these days. Along with that, Chi Ali referred to Nipsey as a king, and that the community has a responsibility to protect these kings when we encounter them.

I really felt this interview and Chi’s beautiful spirit. As the saying goes “real recognise real”. Both Chi and Nipsey are real ones. Nipsey’s spirit and his energy was real that’s why his death hurts so much. I can only watch tidbits of things pertaining to Nipsey, because his death cuts like a knife. That doesn't mean it's you or vlad's place to make him squirm for the rest of the life he has. You heard him. He's dedicated the life he has left to trying to reach and change young guys who were like him when he was young before they go out and take someone's life themselves. Some of those guys will only listen to people like him who've been through it so unless you plan on going out and murdering someone just so you can get through to that bunch, let him be.
