Chi Sau (wing chun) 

This month I've gone back to training in Wing Chun after a ten year absence. Here's a video from 2002, practicing chi sau with another student. If it looks like I'm not looking at my training partner, that's because I find it helpful to focus elsewhere, or shut my eyes - chi sau is all about feeling the other person so you can react more quickly to their action, rather than to react to how/what you see them do. This is why I was drawn to wing chun kung fu.
