I remember when this came out and waiting for a US release. Of course, that never happened. I suspect the ghost mafia and extortion play a role in that.

You forgot to mention that Don's wife had an affair with his right hand man in charge of the other members. They had a baby who is the baby ghost and hid him away in a pocket dimension made by Don's wife so that Don wouldn't find out and become enraged. It's very mysterious how they all died to begin with, but Don was clearly shot in the back three times, as his weak spots in the final boss fight are bullet holes. There's also teeth everywhere in the house, presumably from the gangsters. My assumption would be that everyone died in a fire or explosion because of the destroyed house illusion, but it's hard to tell. It's also odd that a powerful mob would live in such a small house, but the odd steel beams throughout the house might imply that it was once a different building repurposed into a house?

I like the fire/explosion idea. It really fits with the gang vibes, and explains the odd setting for the final fight.

@VarietyTelevision It could be a possibility! I really appreciate the darker story of this game and how it leaves vague evidence as to what the ghosts backstories are, all while maintaining that Chibi-Robo quirk.

There's 5 games in the franchise, but only 3 in America, and one is arguably the worst one ever. But I'm glad you liked the ones I covered, those are the good ones!!! Thanks for your comment, and yeah, 450 is crazy!!
