I was in the prime of my life and this brings back such wonderful memories. One of my favourite bands of the 1970's-80's disco era, the premier disco band. Hits, 'Le Freak', 'Dance Dance Dance', 'I Want Your Love', 'I'm Coming Out', 'Upside Down', 'He's The Greatest Dancer', 'We Are Family', and 'Good Times'. I have watched them in this video and so many so damn regularly. Especially whenever I need a pick up. Happy music not like now. TURN THE SOUND UP !!

Nile Rodgers is THE Disco Guitarist. He invented those little jinglie guitar riffs. He and Bernard Edwards were known as the "hit makers" back in the day and they wrote lots of jamming songs that we all love.
Nile Rodgers....was under-rated for so many years and deserves more than recognition for his outstanding contribution to music for so so long !!!! Love Ireland

I got a chance to see Chic in concert in Dallas when they opened for Duran Duran on 4/19/2016. From the minute Nile Rodgers and the band got o stage everyone was up and dancing. Every song was spot on and it felt like it was our own dance club. I was surprised all the other songs that Nile Rodgers was involved with. What talent, what a gift. Old and young... Chic has no age limit when it comes to their music.
Who could not absolutely Love this concert. WOW, I mean they sound so f'n GOOD! This band is SO full of talent. Not too many bands can actually sound as good or better that they do on their cd's. I would LOVE to see them live.

I first zheard Nile and Chic 1979 Kool Jazz Fest in Cinncinatti they turned it out I now realize he was just only 17 years old that was his first Platium Good times over forty years ago.He has only gotten better the band with Jerry on that bad a..bass the Girls the Drummer a killer my hats off to Chic they still turned up Worldwide I will pay good money to see them.
Saw them live a few weeks ago, I've seen ALOT of bands live and this one was possible the most fun I've ever had at a show. Chic live an ethereal experience

Poor Bernard......the '96 show at Budokan is incredibly awesome...but that fact that Bernard Edwards was very ill during it....played unbelievably great....and then went back to his hotel room and died is just awful....
Members come and go.. This is the best Chic band by far amazing vocals by Kimberley and Folami, Don on Trumpet awesome and the Sax player dont know his name, but his solo in I'm coming out, absolutely outstanding sir!! Audrey and new horns are not right!
undoubtedly a unique PERFORMANCE many would like to do this but mr. nile rodgers you have done a great job the teamwork , the rythem, harmony, lyrics, orchestration makes that solid prestige all year round all over the world, congratulations for the awards in more than 97 countries, i love your singers......they surely sing fine as you said..... i wonder why you are the greatest band......best of luck than the one you already have. simply wonderful...i grew up with your music and everyday i keep listening to all your hitsongs. fresh, lively and motivational....good bye

Chic is much more than “only” wonderful music and musicians. Since allways, its all about happyness, joy, smile, love on what they do...Just watch all the shows, everywhere, worldwide, until today (2017). Most of all, these guys are allways focused, doing their best and...very happy...making everybody happy...Nile Rodgers is a genius, gathering along all this time, wonderful singers, musicians, writing and performing songs that makes us travel, smile, shake and have fun. R.I.P Bernard Edward the master behind Chic with memorable GENIUS BASSLINES that created the greatest grooves in the history of popular music with uncomparable finger technique. The bar was high here and we would love more focus and the name of this amazing bassist replacing him here and doing a great job!!!!!
I always liked Chic & Nile Rogers but only knew a few hits & never really watched them live. Well I had YT streaming to the tv & this just happened to come on by coincidence. So glad it did too cuz this is, without a doubt, one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever seen. The songs sounded amazing. the band was on fire 🔥, the lady singers (especially Kimberly Davis - What a fricking voice!) were fantastic. Definitely going to watch this one again.
