Sarah got me into the Maverick leathers as well. I miss her vids, she has such a unique eye/ perspective. That said, this is def my favorite leather too.
I have two Mavericks: one very well broken in and the other is very new. The older one stays closed on its own now, the newer one is still breaking in. Sarah actually does a video on how to break in your Maverick TN. I can’t recall what it’s called, but I feel like it’s something like “My Maverick collection.” In a nutshell, she pinches the the spine all down the right side, then all down the left side. It pretty much trains it to ease into that form. That’s what I did with both of mine and it works like a charm!
I only have one of these...the original Maverick in B6 Slim. It is beautiful but so stiff that I have not used it much. Maybe I’ll pull it out and try to soften it up with use! I had a bad experience with a Creme on the buy sell trade (a smell issue) so have been reluctant to try it again but maybe the Scout combo would be the way to do that! Thanks for sharing!
Yes, please share if you find any successful techniques for softening up your Maverick 😊 And I am sorry to hear about your Creme 😖 it is a VERY absorbent leather, especially of oils and water, so I am not shocked it can do the same with smells.
Another beautiful collection! however, I'm not liking my July Maverick and look forward to any suggestions to 'soften' it up. I've always wanted a E-Class or an original A6 Heritage Black Beauty and would consider a trade should anyone see this comment. Thank you always for sharing your collections ✍🙏
