@@J3scribe Did you misunderstand my comment? I didn't say he was overrated, I said underrated. I think he was phenomenal and Chicago died with him and they were never the same without him. You never hear him mentioned with Hendrix, Page, Clapton etc yet he was right there with them, if not better. The man didn't get the respect that he deserved.

Great band from the 70's-80's. They were a rock & roll band with horns & blended elements of classical music, jazz, R&B, & pop music. They had a lot of great songs such as "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?", "Beginnings", "Feelin' Stronger Everyday", "Questions 67 & 68", "I'm A Man", "If You Leave Me Now", "Hard To Say I'm Sorry", "Saturday In The Park", "Colour My World", "You're The Inspiration", "Will You Still Love Me?", "Look Away", "Old Days" etc.

This is the song that made Chicago a serious classic rock band. A lot of their later 70s and 80s stuff might be more "well known" but it's pop music at it's blandest. It was in this era, 1969-73, that Chicago just f'in kicked ass. You can turn this up LOUD and it's never loud enough!!

One of my most favorite live performances - Terry Kath (gone too soon) was an absolute beast on the guitar. This was the best version of Chicago - they later became too much of a pop group. But this entire concert is fantastic.

Always nice to see another generation appreciate Grandma and Grandpas music. We thought it was excellent when it came out. The strange thing was we expected it to be that good and were not surprised. I don't remember a bad Chicago tune and I have been a fan since they called themselves Chicago Transit Authority. Good reaction.

One of my favorite groups. I grew up as a young kid listening to their music on my dads stereo console. Love the brass sounds and guitar, bass drums and keys. One of the groups that inspired me to learn the drums as a 7 year old kid and my mother put me in music lessons and I continued all thru all my years of school. I learned to read and write music in percussion. I still jam at home playing my favorite artists. Great choice on this classic one.

THIS is the real Chicago as they were from 1970 to 1978....the 1980's version of Chicago totally changed into mega production and echo chamber, often burying the horns, AND, it had really became the bass player, Peter Cetera with his high voice, and his backup band Chicago at this point which got ridiculous, then he went off on his own. Stick with this line up form 1968 to 1978. that's the REAL Chicago sound. this kind of music was nicknamed Jazz Rock at the time.

@@BC-ui9yt Yes, Jimi did use the exaxt same wording to describe Rory Gallagher LOL. But it was different with Kath as Jimi praised him several times includimg his famous "best guitarist in the universe" description. But perfhaps most importantly Jimi actually said directly to members of Chicago, "Your guitarist is better than me".

@@DarrellFanning-bx7xz Jimi REALLY mentioned 3 guys specifically though legend would have it he mentioned everyone's favorite guitarist 😀 The 3 were Kath, Gallagher and yes Gubbons, although he mentioned latter two only once that I am aware of.
