On May 18th 2024 the IRM had their CNW day. The event featured all of the museum's operational CNW or ex CNW locomotives pulling trains. Some of the highlights included CNW GP7 1518 pulling a freight consist, freshly repainted CNW ALCo RSD5 1689, and Iowa Pacific E8 515 (ex CNW 515).
