This helped a lot! I did not change the brushes, i just pressed them down and now it works again.

Nice job DIY Apprentice. In particular, thank you for showing how to blow out of the the entire unit--preventative maintenance. Probably applicable to other HF models.

Great video ! I have their professional series 4-1/2 " angle grinder which basically uses the same design on the body other than variable dial. Watched your video and true enough put replacement ones in . Back in motion ! A lot of people criticize their design and tools but these tools are actually pretty good !

Thank you. My my multi tool just died this week. I got 6 years out of it. I tried the brush replacement and it’s still dead. I think the speed controller went out. 😢 Great video. I’m always keen to try the $2 instead of the $20 or $100 one.

This video doesnt mean much if you have a garbage chicago electric harbor freight oscilatting multitool. No one, including harbor carries the brushes, which wear quickly. I called them. They do not carry them nor do they recommend any fitting replacement parts.

Pretty good video man. 👍🏻🫡♥️. When you treat a tool right it’ll last you a very long time. I always say! “If the tool did not caught on fire,than it’s still fixable”. Yo took your time and inspected it pretty good,and at the end it was something very fixable. I don’t know why people make a big deal out of the brand,the price the model,battery operated or corded. I have a hyper tough oscillating tool,and i’m always doing something around the house and than some. I’ve never had a problem with it.
