Happy Happy 60th Birthday Elias! You are a very good and underrated actor! I cried when your character Al died on Chicago PD. Hank and Al were my favorite character on that show! I often think that the writers didn't know what to do with Al. He was not given enough to do and his story line sucked big time. Al should have had a good marriage and 5 kids! He was the one who knew Hank best and without him, Hank seems lost. The show died some when they wrote you out. I still watch, but I find my self going back to seasons 1, 2,3, 4 when Al was very much there!
Here's a little trivia, Elias Koteas played the role of Casey Jones from the first and third live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films that were released in 1990 and 1993.

Towards the end of the film "Waterloo" about the battle with Plummer as Wellington and Steiger as Napoleon, Bonaparte sends forward his Old Guard to finish off the British. As they march forward the camera focuses on a few faces in the front ranks of the Guard and one of them looks just like Elias Koteas. He didn't have any lines but the camera noticed him. Wonder if they were the same man?
