Hi Bill and Lisa! Awesome video and mad props for traveling when most people are living in fear. You can buy just dipped 'gravy bread' at Portillo's too; I always get the 'combo' dipped...beef with an Italian Sausage inside but it makes you feel like a blob a hot day. Lisa takes the 'points lead' with her CORRECT pizza rankings lol but Bill gains a point for wearing the "Portillo's Delivers" sticker on his shirt, I usually wear the Portillo's paper hat to embarrass my friends or coworkers (free if you ask). Hope to meet you two at Wrigley someday. Have a safe trip home.

My entire high school walked here together. My Chicago Police officer father would pick me up and take me to games in the Bleachers where Harry Caray announced the game. I have not been back in over 20 years. God I miss Chicago!

Hey guys love the videos ! I’m also from LA but one of my favorite cities to visit is Chicago. Next time you guys are out there check out this place called Three Dots and a Dash. It’s in downtown Chicago on N. Clark st. So it’s a bit of a mission to find it as the place was a speak easy back in prohibition days ..so it’s hidden. Cool little spot to grab some drinks.

Great job, guys. You can't eat everything here in 3 days. There is actually 1 Garretts open but it's on the far south side at 87th and Cottage Grove. I know because I've been going there to send to friends in PHX and NYC. Thanks for sharing!

I can't count the times as a teenager I spent at Wrigley Field on an afternoon when classes ended early. Next time I'm in Chicago I will look up this pizza place.

I worked all day and was at Barnes and Noble across the street from Pequod's and later was across the street at Walgreens!! Seeing you would have made my day. Hope both Bill and Lisa will visit Toronto, Canada later this year when it's safe to cross the border. We have some of the best ethnic yummy food.🇨🇦

Being from Chicago I always enjoy seeing people discovering the city and food. So sad you were unable to see a game at the best ballpark in the USA, you would have loved it. Living in southern California I always miss some of the things Chicago offers, such a great city. Thanks for the video.

Lived here my whole life. Still haven’t had Pequods but I want to try it. Glad you made it to Portillo’s. They’ve continued to become more popular since my childhood. Portillo’s has one of my favorite beefs. I get it fully dipped with mozzarella, no peppers. You definitely need it dipped in the natural juice. A recommendation: try Ricobene’s breaded steak sandwich in Bridgeport neighborhood by White Sox park in your next visit here. Ricobene invented the breaded steak sandwich and other places have copied it. It’s a sandwich you can only get here in Chicago really. One of the magazines like Newsweek or something named it best sandwich in the world a few years back lol. Another recommendation: if you get back to Chicago try some thin crust pizza spots. Most of us don’t eat deep dish that often. Our thin crust is just as good if not better at a lot of places. Also, our Mexican food is awesome too and you can find tons of suggestions of where to go online.
