It’s obvious that much of character in Billy’s voice is the actor’s natural voice and not put on. He did great, and we don’t need everyone to sound the same.
Its scary how much truth this is in showing how the public doesnt really care for justice, its always easier just to take things at face value and hope their telling the truth or everyone is okay
The Stratford High School Playhouse does 3 shows every school year (usually 2 musicals, one big one and one slightly smaller one, and a dramatic/comedic piece). Tony had the lead in “WSS” one year and the next year he had the lead in “Bye Bye Birdie”. “Chicago” was the show they did between those two - 3 very ambitious shows in a row. They had to spread the wealth. So much talent on their roster. Everybody got to be in a great show.
God fucking damn it, this number fell into the same trap as his first number. He's just walking slowly about the stage. This song, sure, is more slow paced, but god damn if this doesn't make it seem boring.
