I like your style of filming and cutting the videos. Absolute professional. And Chicagos best food is awesome. I love it. I am from germany but i MUST visit this outstanding food places once in my live. Love you all, Florian.
@@MajorLeagueBullshit Eating tender meat with a plastic knife and a plastic fork on a plastic plate is but terrible. You don't get the point of civilized cuisine
Ah yes. I would come in regularly before work in the AM To pick up my steak and eggs. I started getting up early like 4/5am to make it here just get steak and eggs. Then work. It was awesome.
This looks as authentic as Chicago can get. Some of those patrons almost look familiar from TV or movie roles! Having said all that this place is the real deal.
I like these clips. There a lot to be said for trying out small Diners to see what the food like. Worst case you have one bad meal that you don't finish, but there's a chance you'll find somewhere round the corner that you really enjoy and spend a decade eating at.
111mrhead I can't stand this guy. Had I known he was in this I wouldn't even have clicked on the link. I'm surprised that I made it to 35 seconds; I must be getting slow when it comes to clicking on 'pause'! I will, from now on, avoid anything that has the words 'Chicago's bet' associated with it. Sorry, Chicago. But this guy sucks.
yeah, he's an absolute douche, and as a British-American, i am ashamed of him. my British parents raised me to be polite, appreciative, and never brash or loud. i have no clue why this guy has the job of hosting this show.
I spent about a week working down the street from this place. My partner and I had breakfast every morning at Art's. Wholesome fresh food every time. Get the pancakes, but allow for a nap.
Not to be mean towards the host, but really would you have a guy from Brooklyn, or Jackson Mississippi, running around London describing the fish and chips, the full English breakfast, bangers and mash etc?...of course not...you need a real native Chicagoan..the concept is great...visiting the thousands of great eateries of the windy city, and doing it and speaking of it in Chicago style...
but wha... what?!?!? All that delish food wasted on paper plates and plastic forks! It was the same when I visited the States. Why this obsession there with disposable dishes and cutlery? Got served coffee and food out of disposables more often than I had anticipated it beforehand. Everything tastes like cardboard in/on them.
Average: I went to this restaurant only because of the recommendation of 'Chicago's Best'. What a mistake. I ordered the skirt steak breakfast and paid about $16, prices have increased since the showing. The skirt steak was average at best. Hash browns were average. Eggs were average and oily.
