Gold Coast is my favorite neighborhood. I lived there for awhile. Didn’t live in a cool mansion but there are some decent affordable apartments. My favorite thing was being so close to the lake and Lincoln park❤️❤️❤️
Gold Coast was one of those neighborhoods I tended to avoid when I lived downtown (Lakeshore East reppin'). Maybe it's because my first exposure to it was The Triangle and the suspicious old-man-young-woman couples. Maybe I'll give it another shot one of these weekends and explore.

We do have alleys here in New York, but most of them are only in the downtown district matter of fact Cortlandt Alley is a famous alley that goes form financial district all the way to Tribeca, and a couple in Queens and Brooklyn but due to clinton dewitt 1811 grid street plan to increase property value so the majority of the city doesn’t have alleyways, hence our garbage problem!😂 one of the flaws of New York being 200 years older then Chicago that had the advantage of having better city planning.
