@@SwervinNeons ur a goofy. what good comes from standing outside on a hot block clutching, selling drugs, and getting high ? U must be proud of all the robberies and the crime rate in the city to act that ignorant.
In the old days they always said "we in da house" Now they always say "we outside" snoop bragged about being at the door after counting to 4, everyone thought it was really cool
Detroit looks worse. But I'm from Chicago and back in the 90's, there was a stretch of C.H.A. housing projects on State st. that went for miles. Robert Taylor Homes, Ickes, Stateway Gardens, Henry Horner, ect......, these were building even the police refused to go into.
As someone from Detroit it is more party, get loud, have fun till someone f's it up and gets an attitude. I can see from this Chitown seems more keep to yourself and your block type stuff.
You are always talking about Detroit and every time he posts a video of Detroit you are always clicking on it 😂 Jennifer Hudson from Chicago performed in Detroit at the North American International Detroit Auto Show yesterday. Detroit is a very loving and welcoming city. The North American International Detroit Auto Show is going on now until September 24th.
@@FrankaiVideos-DetroitsComebackwhy do you keep lying under every Charlie Detroit video? Detroit was never named one of the best places to visit. Detroit is considered a top 3 most dangerous city in America. You stay lying under Charlie’s Detroit videos smh
I'm not glorifying shit bein' crazy. But 48205 was the deadliest most violent zip code literally like 23 out of 30 years fbi stats. It is weird. I grew up in it. But, I just wish the best for everybody to wake up, work, be men, and create loving families.
Hey Charlie Bo, I like what you’re doing. I’m from Detroit too, I think the funniest thing about this vid is the fact that you drove down my block. I wish I ran into you to chop it up a little; I’m a otr driver and I’m watching this is New Orleans at the moment. I’ll probably run into you sometime, maybe you could interview me about my experiences in the D. I’m one of the quiet observers and mind my own business and do my own thing, living in Detroit I’ve seen, know, and been through some real crazy stuff
in like a trailer park boys sort of sense. once you're removed from the mainstream rat race what reason would you have to concern yourself with the rules and not just doing what you want when you can
@@marywilliams1859 My Dad lived on 47th & State in the 60's when he was a kid and he says the same thing. He says there were Vice Lords & Gangster Disciples back then and lots of graffiti. That's hard to imagine and I wonder how they dressed.
Always blows my mind that there's so many people just standing around while trash litters the streets and sidewalks. They could at least start cleaning the place up if they're not doing anything.
“their” habitat is what they were given when they started to build cities they seperated urban and suburban communities. Where urban was more slum like and suburban communities were clean and nice landscaping. So this is the outcome when they put drugs on the street dismantling black families and the community. It became a wilderness something we got USE TOO. Let us put your race threw slavery and depression for hundreds of years lets see how your community will turn out🤔
Been to both; I like both cities, but Detroit has that edge and grit to it that Chicago does not have as much of. Chicago had been more fortunate as a big, international city than Detroit and Cleveland that have more rust belt, industrial grit. Chicago has it but not as much. Down to earth people in all three. Never been to St. Louis can't comment on my experiences but had been to the other three.
Chicago is rich. Its always been wealthy. Ive seen more Rolls Royce and Amg G Wagons than actual tents in Chicago's hoods. Still even that Rolls Royce will do a drive by on you in Chicago if you wrong them! In Chicago, the main problem is a mob/gang mentality
Buddy at 4:44 sound just like "Murda" from McGraw Ave.😂 S/N: Guys kill me who can just comfortably post up on the block while holding their 1 yr. old baby in their arms, as if nothing can happen in a split second in that environment.. Smh😢 Worst Dad of the year award goes to...😂
Clearly has never been to the great city of Chicago where Skyscrapers and beaches are so abundant that it affects the local weather like a real mountian rage. Where money is so abundant that whyte people on the North Side have mini yachts parked on their main yachts, rooftop pools on their skyscrapers 😂 Even seen Rolls Royces and G Wagon rolling through its poorest hoods. Yeah Chicago has alot of money. This country's last 1st world big American city 🤑
Chicago is the 9th richest city in the world by GDP. It has the most fortune 500 companies headquarter located here. A bigger economy than Sweden, Denmark, Shanghai, and multiple countries in Europe. Yeah America doesn't need us for sure 😂
What a great idea 💡. Glorifying violence. Did you come up with this on your own? Comparing violent people to see who is the best shit hole. Here's a thought; between the two how many people made it out? Became successful, graduated college, opened a business etc. The black community needs to be glorified and uplifted for the goodness in the community. Shameful comparisons like this is awful.
Detroit had no Chicago based gangs. Let us know what you know, that nobody else knows. Detroit's gangs, historically, since the 80's are extremely local, small...down to literally like 10 block radius'. It's not like LA or NY. But by toughest do you mean dumbest?? I think you have to grow up glorifying being "tough" because it's nothing but boys with their single momma mentality that don't know how to be a man. REAL TALK YOUNGIN
You have followers everywhere! Jus in gangs culture cities you jus have more ..Detroit not a gang culture city! A couple individuals don’t speak for the majority in a place.. 99.9%of Detroiters not on no gangbangin time ..Real Detroiters abt Money&Respect the so called ones In Detroit on some out of town gang thing mostly NOBODIES on bum time .. #TherealDetroit
He didn’t even show all of Detroit. He look like he more soul on the east side of Detroit. He didn’t drive down Joy Road (my childhood ext9 by dah murdah Mac I grew up in them gray apt a block or two from the murdah max ) He didn’t go down Puritan he go down Finkel etc
I swear michigan people just love having trash everywhere. Up north they dont got free garbage pickup which is hardly an excuse but detroit does have free garbage pick up so they have no excuse
False. Detroit is more dangerous than Chicago. Detroit is a lot smaller than Chicago so the crimes compared to the population gives Detroit a way higher crime rate!
Detroit isn't so much based on gangs its more so the streets your from. The blacks are based on the main roads (or the mile rds 5 mile, 6, 7, etc.) And then you got southwest which is mixed but predominantly Mexican and that's where you'll most likely find our gangs.
I think Detroit people more chill. It's a big city environment, and Detroit cats don't feel comfortable on the EastCoast. Chicago's the most Eastcoast in the midwest. Detroit been through hard & violent times, and a lot of people is sick of the nonsense. Chicago's just recently been experiencing what Detroit's bad behavior back in the 80's started. But life & people are full-circle. It'll happen again & fix itself again, over & over...damn near anywhere you go.
@@luthervaughn1 Detroiters don’t feel comfortable on the East Coast? Where you get that from??? Chicago the most East Coast ?? Wtf that mean ??? Chicago been going through crimes since the Al Capone days
@@FrankaiVideos-DetroitsComebackit’s not thriving. If you’re going to be under every Charlie Detroit video you need to be specific. Downtown Detroit is BARELY thriving. Quit lying to these people!
I'm not sure which hood I like more. Detroit is more pastoral and green. Grass and weeds grow everywhere. Much land is fallow. Chicago is urban. The people have more purpose. Both of these hoods are great places to grow up in and learn about the world.
Only thing I can say, when you move, do your homework. Look at the Demographics, and make sure a certain number it max 15% and get a feel if that number is stable. And once you move, keep tabs on that number, and Move if it starts to climb up! You 'll be happy and stay happy. What demographic you ask? Oh you'll figure it out.
Thankfully Chicago is segregated. So you have neighborhoods like Lincoln Park and Lakeview where the number barely goes over 3%. Ofc those Chicago nieghborhoods are very safe and nice 👌
@@hyemuhyemu8221 'Segregated' is a strong word to describe our city since it's no longer enforced, most people just prefer to live with their own kind, and not *all* of Chicago is 'segregated'. The blk areas aren't exclusively blk and Chinatown isn't exclusively Asian. There are nice parts of the Southside of Chicago too that are moderately diverse like Beverly Hills and the Irish neighborhood Mount Greenwood. Most of the Cook County suburbs and Downtown, Uptown, our hospitals and our attractions like the Lincoln Park Zoo are also moderately diverse, so don't get too excited. You have to go to farmlands and spacious rural areas like Kankakee County if you wanna see neighborhoods in Illinois that are literally or close to 100% pure white. The only downside though is tornadoes hit harder in spacious rural areas.
Far from the truth. Chicago is like 12 cities. Each with its own identity, demographics, culture, architecture. Most of them are wealthy, some are gentrifing, and two are going backwards. I could tell you are not from beautiful Chicago. We have nice beaches and yachts too, along a seawall of skyscrapers ❤ 400k multi millionaires 🤑
