He really was. A friend of mine ran into him at a gas station in the desert one time and he said he was a riot, he was so funny and his wife was the same way.
When asked why he didn't do national broadcasts on ABC,NBC, or CBS for the big games, he said "I won't take a pay cut for any game ...thank you , Jerry Buss"...Lol 🤣
