5/15/24 All 7 babies are doing excellent! Footy and Dash are handling them well.
5/11/24 All 7 hatchlings have arrived! Good job Footy!
5/10/24 We have a total of 6 hatchlings, still waiting on the last egg.
5/9/24 3 Hatchlings today with the first at 13.08! Woohoo!
5/8/24 Waiting for hatchlings to emerge, should be soon!
5/5/24 Incubation continues, Dash delivering bug meals now.
5/4/24 Footy has been doing a great job incubating, rotating the eggs & training Dash
5/3/24 Dash is getting better at dropping off food, training is working
5/2/24 Footy continues to incubate and training Dash
5/1/24 Same stuff, different day. Busy in and out, teaching Dash the ropes.
4/30/24 Same as yesterday, not much action, just waiting for hatch time
4/29/24 A little more fluff, some incubation and relaxing
4/28/24 Some resting in the nest with the eggs, some new fluff added as well.
4/27/24 Footy laid egg number 7, but she was sneaky, we do not know when.
4/26/24 Footy laid the 6th egg at 5:44:47 this morning (Night Stream 17)
4/25/24 We believe we have 5 eggs now, but unsure as Footy was a little off today.
4/24/24 Egg number 4 arrived at 05:37:00 or so. She's doing great! (Night Stream 15)
4/23/24 3rd Egg Arrives at 05:48:17 (Night Stream 14)
4/22/24 2nd Egg Arrives around 05:58:00 (Night Stream 13)

4/20/24 Add just a little more fluff, shaped the cup, she's ready!
4/19/24 More fluff and tidying up, ready for the first egg! Spent the night.
4/18/24 Footy brought in even more moss and fur! Spent the night again. Egg Watch!
4/17/24 Busy most of day, more fluff and rearranging. Settled for the night.
4/16/24 In and out most of the day, an intruder Chickadee. Footy stayed the night.
4/15/24 Added even more moss and some fur. Footy spent the night
4/14/23 Added more moss, starting to form a cup
4/13/24 Footy added a lot of moss today, more than doubled the amount
4/12/24 Added much more moss and had a few visits with both in the box.

After a successful 2023 Carolina Chickadee Nest Box with 4 fledglings, we decided to bring it back for another season. Last year, we had Footy(Mom) & Spice(Dad) who did an excellent job raising their little ones. We still see them around and are hoping they return. Last year they inspected the house on April 2nd for the first time and moved in on April 10th. It was an amazing time watching them. Please join us!
We will be Live March 29th.

-1 Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cam aimed at the outside of nest box front.
Live Stream will run 24/7 until the little ones fledge, fresh live streams every day and overnight. (Overnight once we have something to watch) Check our channel every day for links.
