Chickamauga Battlefield is a American Civil War battlefield in Georgia. There is a visitor center with a museum and theater where they play a video about the battle. The battlefield itself is really cool and it has a driving tour where they have monuments for the different states and for the units that fought there. There is also placards set up everywhere that tell you what happened in the area you're in and also what units where there. At the major points there are QR codes you can scan that tell you what happened like a personal tour. All in all it was a great day to get out there and learn about American history.
There is a lot more to see but I'm showing you part of what I saw. Also, visitor center has clean restrooms and a gift shop. I hope you get a chance to visit Chickamauga Battlefield. It's beautiful! It's worth seeing! It's OUR history! :)
