your area seems pretty loaded and sustainable. it's a good area. That is a great find, and epic video ofthose jumps, and catches. my area was full of little fish, and there was one small area off a couple island points where bigs would feed on bluegill at night, then move back deep when sun came up. so you had like an hour or hour and a half to bust some bigs, then it was over. I got lucky, chose the right bait and found the lil area within an area where they were at. there was a crowd around there, but noone started on the little island points closest to channel, and no one thought to throw a popper. the bigs didnt seem to want a buzzbait, choppo or any of that, only the berkley bullet. I was very fortunate to get 2 fish over 20 each morning before they left. Maybe next time i find something like that, i'll remember to take my pfd with me day 2.....lol

I don't catch as many fish as you , but i don't loose a lot of fish on the hook set, using the seating down sweep set does'nt get a lot of weight into the set. i use a wrist snap first & then half way back to the boat i use a second wrist snap.try it a few times.
