That's neat, always loved watching that show on the Outdoor channel, the Ol' Buzzard was quite a character! Always wanted to do one of their gold camps👍
I went to that gold camp in 2005 with the Massey brothers, it was in Nome. This is a different camp near the Canadian border with smaller groups and much more gold. I’ll be going back there next month and will have a great video on the place. Thanks for watching 👍
Brotha, even with my 4 inch keene dredge it is work, work, work!!! Like living off grid north of Fairbanks, gold is work, everybody wants to do it, but it is hard and very few do it. Glad you got to experience a bit if what I live everyday for the last 10 years. Half while still in uniform doing 1SG duties. Give me a shout if you want to use the dredge in a decent spot i can give directions to. I am selling it to my son, so it will be here. Great vid.
Wow, this brings back memories. I was up in Chicken (Summer of '82) with a team of 8 miners looking for our fortune. Didn't get rich except for the memories !!
Midwest Dave's Gold Prospecting We didn’t get much, but had fun. The river was flooded and we were only able to dredge one day. Higher up the bank. Were gonna try again next year.
