First time trying one of your recipes. I am 60 years old and I have been making curries from scratch for 40 years. This is by far the best curry I have ever made. Thank you so much for all your videos.
Thank you so much for these recipes! I made this handi and the aloo baingan one to go with it and my family loved it! Really easy recipes to follow. May Allah SWT bless you and give you immense barakah for helping people who are beginners with cooking. 😊
Very nice recipe indeed. I make my own too but this time i followed your recipe and it's a big hit in my family. So thank you for a wonderful easy yet delicious recipe.
Hi beautiful lady. As my son and I are on a diet, I’ve had to adapt your delicious recipes using zero oil. I made this dish and OMG ! It was so delicious. You’d never know that it was oil/fat free too. We can now enjoy all of your recipes. Thank you and may Allah bless you always xx
I made this a few days ago, totally forgot to comment. It was an absolute hit. Didn’t realise how tasty it could be without onions. The only thing I missed out was the yoghurt as I had none at the time. Thank you for the recipe shamza xx
I’ve made this recipe a few times- the only thing I changed was that when adding the yogurt I mixed in a tablespoon of shaaan Karahi masala - its a great recipe and never fails!
Luv the simplicity of how you cook and the way you explain the process, Makes it so much easier to follow, Thank you sister for making us mere mortals super chefs. Keep the videos coming 🙏
I made this Sunday and it was delicious. Just taken some more out of the freezer and if anything, it was even better tonight. I've bookmarked more of your recipes to try this weekend. Thanks for sharing yiur recipes
Absolutely love watching your videos. I made punjab somosas yesterday, I felt so confident making them listening to you in the background. Now on to your curries. 😊 Thankyou so much.
Thanks so much. Loved this curry its the best ive ever made. My masala was perfect. Once i added my chicken i could just tell it was gonna be beaut. With love from Wakefield. Going to learn loads from these recipes ❤
Hi Shamza I would so relaunch this Curry made it again today so so tasty and quick and easy and easy to stretch with chickpeas or spinach with these challenging times for families right now this is just such a winner. Love what you do 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Geoff. It definitely is hard times ahead. I must start to look at value meals which is what we all need as we are believe it or not in a recession as the hubby says 😫😔
Thank you so much for this video. I've been missing this, pulao, handi and the breads badly. I was looking for a boneless recipe, this looks amazing! Liked and subbed, awesome channel
I've just made this tonight an it was absolutely delicious 😋 thank you for sharing your beautiful recipes with us, I added onions to mine though 😋 but still was lovely 😍
can this be made with chicken on the bone and tinned tomatoes? looks lovely i wanna make it tomorrow but only have chicken on the bone and tomato tins lol
Hi House Of Knowledge, thanks for your comment. Yes you can. The chicken may require cooking a little longer as it's on the bone but other than that it'll be perfect. 😊
Thank you for posting this video. Chicken Karahi is one of my most favourite dishes. I normally order it from a restaurant called 'Lahore' in Watford or Harrow and its AMAZING! I will definitely give this a go. Thank you! x
Looked so good i couldn’t wait so I am currently making it! Thanks for sharing! Please can I request some Veg curries like Courgette curry, Aloo Mattar, Baingan etc. I love all your recipes!
Fozia my lovely how was the recipe?! Hope you enjoyed it! And yes I've not forgotten your request for Aloo mattar, I'm going to make them this week In sha Allah and hopefully have the video up in the next coming weeks! 😊👍
Thank you soo much! This dish was absolutely delicious - no exaggeration! I was doubting the “no onions” bit but WOW it was better than the onions chicken karahi!
Hello Shamza, thank you for this video, I can’t wait to try this without onions! Quick question, please. Did you use 8 big or small tomatoes? I’ll let you know how I get on. Thanks
Hi Shamza, I was very excited to try your chicken karahi recipe and I have now tried it! I was very happy with the results because it is the best chicken curry I have made! I used all the ingredients that you used and next time, I will try it without the fenugreek leaves, just for my personal preference. I started cooking curries about 10 years ago and even though I watched my Mum, I just haven’t been able to grasp this one! Every time I cook a chicken curry, I always eat it and think ‘it’s just ok’, which isn’t good enough! I couldn’t wait to try your recipe because I was taught to use onions. Not having to use onions is fab! I’d much rather use tomatoes than onions. Your recipe isn’t just easier, it’s also quicker! I will definitely cook it your way from now on and I would also feel confident in cooking this delicious recipe for guests which I would’ve never done before I found you. I have one question for you please…. I like any meat curry to be saucy. If I wanted more sauce/gravy in this, could I use 13 medium sized tomatoes instead of 8 with 1kg of chicken? I will be trying your lamb karahi recipe next. Thank you, Shamza!
Hi Rachel, yes I do. Infact, my recent upload is a vegetarian/vegan recipe - Courgette Curry! Ill leave the link below should you wish to take a look... totally delish 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JyOBY7usVfI.html
Hi, I’ve tried this recipe and it is absolutely delicious, thank you so much. Could you please do a video on making roti, chappatti or naan bread please?
Hi Maryam, thanks for your comment. You could but I wouldn't recommend as this particular dish specifically uses fresh tomatoes for the taste and final look of the product. If you wish to use tinned tomatoes then 1 can would be sufficient. Hope that helps! 😊
Hi Marie, I wouldn't recommend as this is a 30min recipe and on the bone chicken times will vary. Don't worry I have an on the bone curry recipe coming in the next few weeks! 😊
Wsalaam. Alhamdulilah by the grace of the Almighty it's going or should I say gone really well since we are in the last stage. Hope it is going equally well for you all too. No chicken tenders are the small fillet that is attached to the breast peice of a chicken. Sometimes the butcher leaves them on when you buy chicken breast peices. Hope that helps.
Hi there, mum always made on the bone chicken curry! I've a recipe for that with an addition of potatoes to it. If you just wanted the chicken curry on it's own then just leave out the potatoes and you'll have the most amazing on the bone curry ever! I'll link it below. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-A4dpT6ULgK8.html
Great dish! will try it out - would adding onions enhance the taste? or serve it with onion salad! Made Paya on your last vid - made to perfection. Yes - Ali, Aubergine dish please! Thanks x
Hi Naz050, it honestly doesn't need onions in any way! Be it in the curry or in a salad. Obviously, if you want, you can have them in a salad but i wouldn't advise to add them in the curry as typically this is how this recipe is cooked! 😊
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes I tried it, it was fantastic. The chilis gave a lovely earthy flavour, and I used my homemade garam masala powder and freshly ground coriander. Excellent. Onions, be gone 😂
I was eating Chicken Karahi a number of times at one Pakistani place, but it had intense red colour. So I always assumed Chicken Karahi is red, but here it is not the case.
Hi Stan, thank you for your comment. My understanding is that it is a lot of Kashmiri chilli powder that has been used to create that red colour. Every restaurant differs from another, as does methods of cooking recipes.
if you've already made it then eat with some yogurt, rice or naan? If your making it then reduce how much chilli powder you use? If your still cooking it and finding it too hot maybe add some potatoes?? I'm guessing to be honest about the cooking side of things. Hope you sort it.
Hi David, do you add extra chilli powder to the curries? Just try reducing the amount.. and just like gadgets and gear has said, if its been cooked then having yoghurt or a cucumber raita will reduce the heat. Hope that helps.
